Hey Friends,

I wanted to thank you so much for listening to Thérèse the past few weeks and invite you to a special event!!

We are doing a special premiere for the Thérèse music video in Manhattan on Sunday evening. The day before it comes out on my YouTube channel.

I’d like to invite you to come and watch it.

The tickets are free and on a first come first serve basis. It will be projected on 35 mm film and there will be a Q and A with the director, Brady Corbet and I, afterwards…

Unfortunately space is limited so if you want to and can come, move quickly.

I’ll be there and would love to meet you afterwards.

! RSVP HERE !

Here is the important bit of brass tax unsexy info.

The exact timing and location will be sent out to confirmed RSVPs.

You also HAVE to bring you ID and vax card! If you don’t we cannot admit you to the event. It’s not personal, it’s just being safe!

Oh… and most important to note you have to be 18 or older to come because there are nipples in the video. The world doesn’t want people under 18 to know that nipples exist. That I have never seen, experienced or heard about an image of a nipple hurting a child and therefor don’t personally feel badly about making art with nipples in it even though I have a lot of young fans and friends who might be curious about and want to see the video.

We are all bombarded with negative and doctored images of bodies all the time, whether we want to be or not.

The “art” I saw about sexuality when I was growing up (being honest… I am still growing up) helped free me from a culture that seems to want us all to hate ourselves and fear others, right?

There is a lot to feel bleak about these days but it’s important to find moments of joy and look out for each other where & when we can these days.

It’s important to care for others when we have the means too.

It’s HARD to figure out how to cope with all of it and how to talk or even think about all of it.

To me thats why art is so important because it unintentionally helps or resonates with us to make sense of the world. It brings people together. For me art creates hope.

I promise I’m done being intense. I’m leaving you with some links to some causes I care about. No pressure to donate just reading up about them is enough.
