Ironheart follows the story of Genius Riri Williams, a young girl inspired by Tony Stark. She decides to build her own suit of incredible armor to fight for the good of humanity. This super smart gal works hard and brings a lot of humanity to her role as the Super Hero Ironheart. The series is set to begin filming on June 20th in Atlanta, Georgia and is expected to wrap around October 21st.
“Ironheart” Cast and Crew
Actress Dominique Thorne will be playing Ironheart’s lead character. She is a relative newcomer to Hollywood with only two film credits to her name: Judas and the Black Messiah (2021) and If Beale Street Could Talk (2018). Her role in Ironheart is not the last that we’ll see of her in the MCU as she is also slated to make an appearance in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. Thorne is represented by Paradigm Talent Agency.
