Léa Seydoux is a French actress known for her work in both French and Hollywood films. Born in 1985 in Paris, France, she comes from a well-known family in the French film industry, with her grandfather being the chairman of Pathé and her father being a great-grandson of businessman and inventor Marcel Schlumberger.

She began her acting career in French cinema, appearing in films such as The Last Mistress and On War, before gaining international recognition for her role in The Beautiful Person.
