The film is based on the incredible true story of the top-secret “butcher-and-bolt” black ops units that Prime Minister Winston Churchill assigned to stop the unstoppable German war machine. These units were made up of criminals, rogues, and survivalists and were tasked with using brutal tactics to achieve their objectives. When France fell to the Nazis in 1940, Churchill ordered the Special Operations Executive to secretly develop these units to operate behind enemy lines. The units were fully deniable by the British government and were a ruthless force to meet the advancing Germans.

“The Ministry Of Ungentlemanly Warfare” is produced by a team of accomplished industry veterans, including Jerry Bruckheimer, Chad Oman, Ivan Atkinson, Niall Perrett, John Friedberg, Olga Filipuk, and Damien Lewis.
