that part yet um so then I was a little little nervous felt like a lot of

us the Japanese version First and um the Japanese actress uh I've played a couple

of her counterparts I think it's the same actress that played like Elizabeth and seven goodle sins and you know like

a few other things I think yumo and and Kakui as well um so I was like all right

I get it like hi pretty and Bry um so I think I did a couple takes I think I did one that was like even higher pitched

few weeks before that this was like a very popular anime manga in Japan and that it was going to be you know the

anime was coming out in the states and I was excited to watch it cuz I was like oh that looks pretty I'll watch that and

then I a few weeks later got the audition for nezo and I was like oh I know I actually know what this is and um

nezuko is just like I can't go anywhere now without seeing like a NE something

it's crazy to me I've never been a part of something that huge or you know with

that much popularity or widespread popularity cuz it's it's not just

here it's International so it's it's very overwhelming I was

just in Germany and Switzerland and Italy and I

two moments that really stood up for me one is the very first episode where nezo is First transformed into a demon and

she attacks Tano and he's fighting her off with the axe in her Jaws pleading with her to remember who he is and she

does and she tears up and that moment for me I could cry just thinking about I

don't know why it's so powerful to me but it's just like that's of the character both characters you know that

is the essence of both of those characters so that moment is really special I think and then another moment

kind of similar is the fight with doy um when after the fight tandro is kind of

trying to calm as a go down and she's crying and remembering their mother and that was a very emotionally intense

scene like that whole fight and everything it was it was hard to do and

then I remember being kind of stuck in that emotion for a moment and then our director Steve was like great moving on

and I was just like give me a moment same thing with the the moment in the

sun I was very much stuck in that moment you know it's hard to watch let alone

perform Neo's Burning Alive essentially so even though she does make it through

it's still hard to get through that and then I was very much in that moment when

the director was like okay and next give me a second um but yeah those

are three really powerful moments that I can think of anybody else um the episode where we go the

episode where we go into the backstory about shinobu's

sister yeah um that's a really obviously very emotionally intent especially

because shobu is a bit younger in that so she's less I feel like her emotions

are less hidden in in that episode then you know she's still not like a tandro

but uh yeah I think I when we were doing that episode I I felt like I really

understood a lot more about uh her character and her her Mission and her goals in life and everything and

obviously it's very sad that her sister was killed and her entire life's work is

now about that we'll see what

sw's village where gya thinks he's going to die um and he like is like I did all

this so I could apologize to my brother really like um and I also got to play

led both of them to where they are and like that was a very uh like very emotional heartfelt scene um getting to

act that out and then play gya In This Moment Like re like thinking back on it

and like how he feels like he'll never be able to get this opportunity and how he feels like he um he can't use breath

so he's like I'm untalented I'm like not this and I'm not this um yeah it's like

for for a moment we get to see inside like who gen really is beneath like the little the rough exterior so yeah that

flashback was like super super intense like it's a sonomy um you know you can you can sort of pinpoint the moment

where this character had to wall himself off emotionally after the stuff that happened between you know his his mom

his brother um like as they were walking away when he was telling was like hey it's just sort of like us now right like

that's the start of him like just being like okay like this is the rest of our lives we have to like take care of

ourselves but the for me when that started to crack a little bit and and it's always really great to have those

moments with the character who is Walled off emotionally to sort of peer behind the veil a little bit is when we were in

the hallway and we had just met up again right I mean chaining yeah exactly and

like you were having conversation you know sonom me was being very very callous and rude but the second genya

told him that he had been eating demon Parts there was that moment where Soni was like wait what right like like that

the moment where like you can sort of be like you know Soni had at that point completely closed himself off emotionally in that moment you can see a

little crack you know you can see the brother and you know he goes in and he tries to Blind genya right but that

moment was not really in a in a fit of anger it it was in a fit of panic he

needed to get his brother out of the Demon Slayer core by any means necessary

because he realized that he was almost at this point of no return right right so that was probably my favorite sonomy
