0:00
welcome to another episode of Tales From
0:01
The Collection today I'm going to show
0:03
you some of the wonderful responses that
0:04
I got from sending fan mail to
0:05
celebrities athletes and authors you're
0:07
going to see responses from people like
0:09
Rachel Ziegler Jenna Fischer Neil
0:11
degrass Tyson Steve Bushi and many many
0:14
more so hang it in there and we're going
0:15
to check it out all right we're starting
0:17
off strong with three signed play bills
0:20
right here I got one from Rachel zegler
0:23
here from Romeo and Juliet this one's
0:25
signed by Zachary Kinto who was on the
0:28
show Heroes which I loved back in the
0:30
day and I got one from the cast of Death
0:33
Becomes Her all three of these are
0:35
beautifully signed um little bit of
0:37
smudging on this one and unfortunately a
0:41
good deal of smudging on this one but
0:42
this one came out pretty darn perfect
0:44
maybe a little bit right there but you
0:46
know sometimes that happens they got a
0:48
lot of requests to do so either they're
0:50
signing them quick and piling them up or
0:52
sticking them into envelopes quickly
0:54
perhaps but probably just piling up in a
0:56
big stack and sometimes the ink gets
0:57
smudged before it gets time to dry but
1:00
that's all right I still got some really
1:01
cool successes super excited about this
1:03
one in particular Rachel zegler is
1:05
awesome so happy about that all right
1:08
here's a great one from famed astronomer
1:11
Neil degrass Tyson I sent him a pretty
1:13
lengthy Q&A unfortunately he didn't have
1:15
time to respond but uh he clearly
1:18
appreciated that and sent me two sign
1:20
copies of his books and a little note uh
1:22
saying Tim no time to answer all of your
1:25
questions but perhaps these two enclosed
1:26
books get you part of the way so you
1:29
know i' love love hearing uh what he has
1:31
to say I I'm listening to one of his
1:33
audiobooks uh right now and I will show
1:36
you what the sign page looks like right
1:40
here love the script that he uses very
1:43
very old school very very nice for Tim
1:46
he who is internally curious Neil
1:48
degrass Tyson absolutely love that
1:51
inscription um let's see in the other
1:54
one and look he did do also two index
1:56
cards for me here um awesome totally
2:04
calligraphy then boom letters from an
2:07
astrophysicist Neil degrass Tyson so two
2:11
really cool books I'm very much looking
2:12
forward to reading or perhaps getting
2:15
the audio book for so I can listen to
2:16
them in the car very nice letter and two
2:20
index cards signed man went above and
2:25
provided his own envelope paid for the
2:28
postage himself 538 out of the own Man's
2:30
Pocket from the Natural History Museum
2:34
so very kind of him super generous guy
2:37
very happy to get the success thank you
2:39
so much Neil uh I love seeing you on
2:42
podcasts and hearing you talk about
2:45
space and the stars and physics and all
2:47
that great stuff so definitely looking
2:49
forward to these two incredible Books
2:51
thank you so much and my apologies to
2:53
everybody who enjoys seeing these
2:55
success videos it has been a while this
2:57
one would came back all the way and
2:59
either late December or early January
3:02
from of course Shan Aston the one and
3:04
only he signed here and I think a very
3:06
thin Sharpie um got a little bit smudged
3:08
on that one and uh same thing here could
3:12
be a ballpoint pen I'm not exactly sure
3:14
it's so thin but I think it was a thin
3:15
sharpy um he signed this is not his home
3:19
address this is from the hotel that he
3:21
was staying at because he was on
3:22
Broadway doing the play Elf and he was
3:25
staying at a hotel there he sent it from
3:26
the hotel no longer there so
3:28
unfortunately this address is no longer
3:30
valid but um yeah Sean ason what an
3:34
incredible dude um signed two out of two
3:37
photos for me I saw a lot of people
3:39
getting some great successes so is very
3:42
kind very thoughtful thank you
3:44
Sean all right and uh here's another
3:47
success from Ali Calio she is of course
3:50
the voice of Moana she signed this one
3:52
to my two kids own an Emma upon my
3:54
request this one is going to go up in
3:56
their room and she inscribed it love and
3:59
aloha I eat and I don't know super
4:02
stoked about the success I think uh
4:04
these Disney um lithographs look super
4:08
cool and it looks awesome that she
4:10
signed it so looking forward to getting
4:12
this in a frame and stuck in one of the
4:14
kids' rooms all right now we got one
4:16
from Brinley Reese uh she was very
4:18
responsive to me she signed not one but
4:21
two photos two index cards and responded
4:24
to my Q&A with handwritten responses uh
4:27
looks a little bit crazy with the
4:28
multicolors cuz it bled through from the
4:30
other side um but very nice that you
4:32
wrote in different colors uh to kind of
4:34
help distinguish that um but if you want
4:37
to see this interview that I did with
4:38
her uh it's about 10 questions she did
4:40
some very thorough nice responses that
4:42
will shortly be posted at Tales
4:45
SL interviews so go ahead and check that
4:48
out should be up there very shortly
4:50
probably by the time you're watching
4:51
this it's there all right here's another
4:54
one that I got from Broadway this one is
4:56
from actress Zoe Dutch uh she looks like
4:58
she was signing basically one photo per
5:00
every person uh that didn't stop me from
5:03
trying to get a second one um you know
5:05
unfortunately she only signed one but
5:08
hey Beggars can't be choosers I really
5:10
appreciate the kindness and generosity
5:11
that she did signing the one photo and
5:14
um dedicated even to me to Tim and that
5:17
one's going to go in a frame for sure I
5:20
think love the photo came out really
5:22
good unfortunately this letter got a
5:24
little bit mangled in the mail it came
5:25
in a bubble mailer with a bunch of cool
5:27
stuff which I'm about to show you in a
5:28
second but this is from Scott C he is
5:30
the creator of Five Nights at Freddy's
5:32
the video game franchise that went on to
5:34
spawn the movie um he sent some really
5:37
cool stuff for the kids which I'm going
5:38
to show you now Scott was kind enough to
5:40
send my kids all this great Five Nights
5:41
at Freddy stuff eight pencils four
5:43
bouncy balls a bitty pop this wonderful
5:46
plushy and assigned Five Nights at
5:48
Freddy's photo negative glamrock Freddy
5:51
so this is really cool this one's going
5:53
to go on display the kids are going to
5:55
open these all up and play with them
5:56
it's going to be a great time really
5:58
appreciate the kind gesture giving my
6:00
two kids all this great stuff and
6:01
there's enough stuff divided equally
6:03
amongst them there's not going to be any
6:05
fighting it's going to be a wonderful
6:06
time so really appreciate that all right
6:09
here's another great response this one
6:10
is from artist Dan Davis uh he signed
6:13
two index cards included his own with
6:15
some really cool art on there it's uh
6:18
you know not hand done or anything but
6:19
it's uh cool uh copies of some of his
6:22
art that he's done working for Batman
6:25
Garfield and Scooby-Doo and also
6:30
uh again 10 questions with some nice
6:31
responses which you can find on TS
6:36
inters all right here's another one that
6:38
kind of took a while for me to get onto
6:39
video uh first one is from Jenna Fisher
6:42
of course from the office uh very lovely
6:45
of her to sign two index cards for me
6:48
next one coming from Shelley KH and uh
6:50
she also included her own Christmas card
6:53
here uh thank you for the kind letter
6:55
wishing you a lovely festive time this
6:57
year best Shelly k really liked getting
7:00
this one uh very nice Personal Touch on
7:02
there and uh of course the two index
7:05
cars that I sent and I think this is um
7:08
I think she hand did this card like I
7:09
think this is her painting and uh all
7:12
that stuff which is really cool I really
7:13
like that and appreciate that so thank
7:15
you very much Shelly all right we got
7:16
some cool responses here first one
7:18
coming from Steve Bushi really happy to
7:21
get this one back to Tim all the best
7:23
Steve Bushi January 2025 I got this one
7:26
from Jurgen Pro now uh and then finally
7:30
one here from Victoria vetri and uh
7:33
she's of course a famous model and um I
7:38
sent her actually two requests one of
7:39
them she responded with a photo which
7:41
got badly mangled uh in the mail and
7:44
then she signed my two index cards so um
7:47
yeah there you go pretty cool response
7:49
despite it getting mangled by the USPS
7:51
but I forgive them it's all right krio
7:54
Belfy sent me this wonderful response
7:56
while I suppose her agent did EMP Hallet
8:00
um they sent me this photo in kind of a
8:03
smaller envelope which did not fit
8:05
unfortunately so uh they kind of bent it
8:07
in half to get it in there but you know
8:11
what you going to do about it that's
8:12
okay so looks good kind of flattened out
8:14
pretty nicely so thank you very much all
8:17
right we've got three more great
8:18
successes here the first one coming from
8:20
anaka non Rose you might know her as the
8:22
voice of Tiana from The Princess and the
8:25
Frog uh she sent this nice signed index
8:28
card with a little uh QR code for one of
8:31
her books and then coming from Danny
8:33
tryo he went ahead and sent me uh well I
8:37
sent him these three sign these three
8:38
cards and uh he signed all three of them
8:41
for me very nicely by the way um they
8:43
are Chrome cards so I did have some
8:45
concern that they were going to come
8:46
back uh smudged from the ink but Danny
8:50
was very nice with them he waited for
8:51
the ink to dry and they came back I mean
8:53
looking perfect uh maybe a little bit of
8:55
smudge on that one but very good looking
8:58
cards super happy with Dan
9:01
much and then finally here Gemma Aron
9:05
and she's of course known for Game of
9:07
Thrones she was kind enough to sign two
9:08
index cards for me all right here's
9:11
three more successes for you this one
9:13
coming from Clara padet uh she wrote uh
9:16
two nice descriptions on here thank you
9:17
for the letter much love Clara and dear
9:20
Tim much love Clara I really appreciate
9:23
those two index cards that she sent me
9:25
next two from Andrea Lee uh signed two
9:27
index cards there then fin from Ashley
9:30
Hobbs um as you can tell she's a model
9:33
and uh sent her a Q&A uh didn't feel
9:35
like responding to him but uh sent me a
9:38
very nice reply sent her own trading
9:39
card and signed my two index card so you
9:42
know what what more can you ask for all
9:45
right I got four more for you here
9:47
perhaps this one should have gone with
9:49
the last segment but Erica Jordan right
9:51
here she also sent me a nice signed
9:53
Benchwarmers card uh two signed index
9:55
cards there and uh she did respond to my
9:58
Q&A which uh you can find a whole bunch
10:00
of interviews with models on TS
10:03
slins uh in case you
10:06
forgot uh Christopher neem and he signed
10:09
two index cards here Tim with love and
10:12
best wishes Christopher Heather Langan
10:15
Camp uh from Nightmare on Elm Street she
10:18
signed too and it also respond to my Q&A
10:20
the answers were a little bit short so
10:22
you're probably not going to find it
10:23
actually uploaded to Tales
10:24
collection.com um but it was still nice
10:27
to get some responses from her and
10:29
finally Peter lion uh this has
10:31
definitely already been uploaded uh he
10:32
gave me a very nice interview uh spent
10:35
his time doing tho and detailed
10:38
responses and of course he is the master
10:40
swordsmith for WETA and they did all the
10:43
props for the Lord of the Rings movies
10:44
they're based in New Zealand and uh him
10:47
and weda themselves were super
10:49
cooperative and facilitating and very
10:52
good sports about the interview so um
10:54
highly appreciate Peter and weda for
10:56
their assistance in that all right last
10:59
but certainly not least I got two more
11:01
successes for you here this one from
11:03
hawan asnis uh he did two wonderful
11:06
index card sketches for me with uh
11:09
signatures there and then this one from
11:11
Robert Dixon who is part of the Tuskegee
11:13
Airman he signed two index cards and
11:15
gave me this photo print out of a
11:17
portrait of him that he uh also signed
11:19
well that about wraps it up thank you
11:21
