So I was wondering how like your
0:02
reaction when Tom Felton decided to do a
0:06
Broadway and this role.
0:08
Okay. So Tom Felton for those of you who
0:11
don't know uh been living under a rock
0:13
for the last 20 years is the lovely man
0:15
who uh was a boy and played Draco Malfoy
0:18
in the films.
0:20
He's not here. Don't get me.
0:23
He does plenty of cheers where he is.
0:25
He's he's a lovely man. I'm very very
0:27
fond of him. uh and he decided to go
0:29
into Harry Potter the Cursed Child on
0:31
Broadway starting November. I think the
0:34
box office has gone crazy. People flying
0:36
all over the world want to watch him
0:37
play Adult Draco in that. Uh and I would
0:40
urge any of you obviously to go and see
0:42
him. Uh uh he's going to be fabulous and
0:44
it's going to be a hell of a thing when
0:45
he walks out on that stage the first
0:47
time. The audience is going to go
0:48
bonkers. He's quite nervous about doing
0:51
it. But my reaction was I'm thrilled
0:53
that he's thrilled. you know, I I care
0:54
about him being happy and uh so I
0:56
audiences will be very gentle be I know
0:58
I was going to say if you haven't read
1:00
Harry Potter the cursed child don't and
1:04
don't read it because it's a play script
1:06
it's not a novel it's not a book if you
1:08
see the play there are two or three
1:11
amazing moments in it in which the whole
1:12
audience goes magical moments you won't
1:15
see coming that'll be surpris I do magic
1:17
I do magic got cards I mean I've got
1:19
cards back there I do tricks all the
1:21
time and the great thing about a trick
1:22
is at the end where people go oh my god
1:23
on it and see that coming. There are
1:25
loads of moments like that in the play.
1:27
If you read the book, you'll ruin them
1:28
for yourself. So, if you get a chance,
1:30
go see Tom. If not, go and see emotion
1:31
somewhere else sometime. Uh he's going
1:34
to be brilliant. I can't I am
1:35
unfortunately filming, but if I have a
1:37
gap, as soon as I have a gap, I'm going
1:38
to go to Broadway and see him and cheer
1:40
him on. Thanks.
