welcome to Tales from the Collection
0:02
today we're going to go over some of the
0:03
responses that I recently got from
0:04
celebrities voice actors athletes all
0:07
kinds of great people from franchises
0:09
like Star Wars Indiana Jones and the MCU
0:11
it's going to be a lot of cool successes
0:13
in here so strap in for the next 10
0:15
minutes or so as we see who's responding
0:17
to fan mail of course as always this
0:20
video is brought to you by you this
0:23
channel relies on your guys' support so
0:25
thank you so much for watching please
0:27
like and comment below who you would
0:29
like to receive an autograph from and
0:31
let's get going with two stock car
0:34
racers this one is from Tony Bredinger
0:37
and this one is from Amber Balsine and
0:39
they were both kind enough to sign for
0:41
me through the mail i sent Tony some
0:44
trading cards here and she signed all
0:46
four of those bad boys and uh Amber same
0:49
thing actually sent her four photos
0:51
there front and back here she signed all
0:53
four of them even took time to switch
0:55
between black and silver pen very nice
0:57
of her um you know both Tony and Amber
1:01
are like super stellar about responding
1:03
to their fans um and they're two up and
1:06
cominging racers if you don't know the
1:07
sport very much it's possible maybe you
1:09
recognize Tony from Raising Canes and
1:12
she was like spokesperson they're one of
1:14
her sponsors and she was like did a big
1:16
ad campaign she was all over the
1:17
restaurants for uh quite a while last
1:19
year so maybe remember her from there
1:21
but regardless both of these ladies very
1:24
awesome thank you so much Amber and Tony
1:26
really appreciate it all right now
1:29
here's a really awesome one this one
1:30
from Charlie Cox now I sent him a letter
1:34
to the UK actually I sent maybe about
1:36
three bucks worth of UK postage for the
1:38
return uh they sent it back I imagine to
1:41
his representative in the US and they
1:43
then sent it to me and uh you know not
1:46
only did he send it back but he paid
1:48
extra to send this certified mail uh
1:50
which cost him as you can see here $18
1:53
out of the man's own pocket which was uh
1:56
very generous of him uh he signed both
1:58
of my index cards tim all the best
2:01
Charlie Cox and then of course he sent
2:03
this image as well this was his own
2:04
image my envelope was a little bit too
2:06
small for it so it did unfortunately
2:08
have to get folded in half but uh Salvie
2:11
I really appreciate that he sent me this
2:13
nice photo with an extra signature on
2:15
there and again 18 bucks out of his own
2:17
pocket to send me some free autographs
2:19
like dude's awesome i've seen him at a
2:21
couple conventions before he's
2:22
definitely a nice guy u but yeah I
2:25
wasn't expecting him to kind of go above
2:26
and beyond like that so thank you very
2:29
much Charlie all right here we're going
2:30
to do a little bit of a spotlight on
2:31
some artists that I reached out to uh
2:33
here we go starting with Todd Lockwood
2:36
of course as you can see he is a Magic
2:38
the Gathering artist uh I believe he did
2:40
uh charge like maybe two bucks per
2:42
signature something like that nothing
2:43
crazy uh so I sent him a couple of the
2:45
cards that I had in my collection and uh
2:47
he was kind enough to also answer a few
2:50
of my Q&A questions as well which is
2:51
very kind of him uh next from uh the
2:54
Pickles Comics we have Brian Crane did
2:57
this very nice sketch and uh of course
3:02
Curado Masten Tuono pretty sure that's
3:05
the way you pronounce his name italian
3:06
name there so Curado um definitely
3:09
appreciate this return here he is a
3:12
Disney artist he did work on the Disney
3:14
comic books and um he sent me two index
3:17
cards with a sketch first one ciao to
3:20
Tim from Donald Duck not from Donald
3:23
Duck but with Donald Duck sketch on
3:25
there uh very nice and then this picture
3:28
of Mickey on the planet with Tim and a
3:31
heart uh very nice guy super cool uh
3:34
really appreciate that colorado um so
3:37
yeah there you have it three cool
3:38
artists uh and some international
3:41
returns there as well so very happy with
3:43
that success i got a nice response from
3:46
Kevin Smith i did send him two cards
3:48
from The Force Awakens of course he did
3:50
do a little cameo in there uh but he
3:52
decided to send this photo instead uh
3:55
pre-signed photo signed nice and silver
3:58
looks pretty cool very happy to add this
4:00
to my collection uh thank you very much
4:01
Kevin he sent this from Vue a skew his
4:04
production company and uh really
4:06
appreciate that return all right mixing
4:08
it up a little bit i got two of these
4:10
instruction manuals that I had in my
4:12
collection and I wanted to send them out
4:13
to none other than Alexi Pitnov he is of
4:16
course the creator of Tetris uh these
4:18
are two manuals from the original NES
4:21
game uh Alexi is just super kind and
4:24
generous he signs for his fans quite
4:26
regularly and I was very happy to get
4:27
both of these back uh dude's awesome so
4:30
thank you very much Alexi uh happy to
4:32
have these in my collection here's one
4:34
for the Indiana Jones fans uh this one
4:36
is coming from Karen Allen in the
4:38
Indiana Jones movies uh she signed two
4:41
photos for me dedicated both to Tim all
4:43
the best um these photos are you know
4:46
very nice uh she signs again one of the
4:49
great signers who signs a lot for fans
4:52
um totally super cool u great lady and
4:55
if you're a fan of Indiana Jones I mean
4:57
I highly recommend reaching out to this
4:59
wonderful woman she is so kind and so
5:01
awesome so thank you very much Karen all
5:04
right here's a success from Ali E
5:06
Cravalio of course I wrote to her while
5:09
Cabet was uh still on Broadway actually
5:11
the play is still there but she has
5:13
since left the stage and she has a
5:15
replacement uh filling in for her right
5:17
now so Ali is no longer on Broadway at
5:21
least uh at Cabaret so maybe she'll make
5:24
a return one day i'm sure she will so if
5:26
you missed your chance this time well
5:28
there's always next time so uh best of
5:30
luck to you guys i was super happy to
5:32
get this i did get her previously
5:33
actually on a Moana photo and really
5:35
wanted her on something uh with actually
5:38
her likeness on it so I got this she was
5:40
super kind signed it and um yeah just
5:44
Ali all right here's a cool one from Kim
5:47
Smith she actually worked for ILM and
5:49
Tippet Studios she did model making on
5:51
Star Wars Star Trek a lot of really cool
5:54
sci-fi films and uh she was kind enough
5:56
to do a very lengthy and in-depth
5:58
interview with me which you can find on
6:03
tailscollection.com/interviews and uh
6:04
yeah that was like really good interview
6:06
super cool hearing her stories she was
6:08
very kind to me and signed four photos
6:10
um just her working in the model shop
6:13
working on models painting um on Star
6:17
Wars and Star Trek films uh just
6:19
absolutely so over the moon with Kim
6:22
she's so sweet and so nice so thank you
6:24
very much i appreciate the return all
6:27
right here we got one from Sab Shimono
6:29
uh he of course was in Teenage Mut Ninja
6:31
Turtles 3 and here we have his shot from
6:35
Waterorld he was kind enough to sign
6:38
here in a nice yellow paint pen i think
6:39
that came out really nice and black
6:41
Sharpie right here uh a little post-it
6:43
note saying I don't recall how the voice
6:46
came about um for Teen Ninja Turtles but
6:50
um that's in reference because I sent a
6:51
little bit of a Q&A uh unfortunately
6:53
didn't have time to get to that but he
6:55
did have time to sign two photos for me
6:57
um absolutely lovely gentleman so thank
7:00
you very much Sab all right so I've
7:02
never gotten a response from a queen
7:03
before but now I can say that I actually
7:06
have so this one is from Queen Farah
7:08
Palvi she was the queen of Iran back in
7:12
the day before you know it's its current
7:13
crazy modern state but uh regardless of
7:17
that uh she was very kind and I sent her
7:19
two index cards and uh she signed uh not
7:23
these are not the index cards she signed
7:24
two of these like 5x7 uh very nice
7:27
matted I don't know pieces of paper but
7:30
they're very cool uh for me Tim Santins
7:34
uh from Far and it's very cool success
7:37
super happy with it um so thank you very
7:40
much all right this month I didn't do
7:43
super hot with the play bills but I did
7:44
get two one signed by the cast of Sumo
7:48
another one just a plain old play bill
7:49
unsigned from the cast of English uh
7:52
this one did have Tala Ash in the play
7:55
unfortunately she didn't sign the play
7:56
bill but I did send her a response
7:58
individually and she did sign two photos
8:01
for me so let's get into that one all
8:04
right as promised Tala Ash here she
8:06
signed two photos for me uh this is the
8:09
first one and a nice silver i think it
8:10
came out really good uh same for this
8:13
one um also nice silver Sharpie she
8:16
signed via the same play that we just
8:18
saw English and uh she was very kind so
8:21
thank you very much Tall i appreciate
8:22
that one all right here we got one from
8:24
a Disney voice actress this one is Leah
8:27
Salona she did the singing voice for
8:29
Princess Jasmine and of course Mulan so
8:33
yeah Mulan had a voice actress for all
8:35
the speaking parts but then she had a
8:36
different voice actress for the singing
8:38
roles which um Leah did for both of
8:41
these characters so uh she was on
8:43
Broadway and I wrote to her she signed
8:45
both of these photos very beautifully
8:47
for me so thank you very much i'm a big
8:49
Disney fan and uh you know can't go
8:51
wrong and can't resist when there's a
8:54
Disney voice actor or voice actress on
8:56
Broadway of course true to my word here
8:58
is another response from a Disney voice
9:00
actress this time from Judy she was
9:03
the voice actress again the singing
9:05
voice for Pocahontas uh and as well she
9:08
was also coincidentally on Broadway at
9:10
the same time so I got to send her two 8
9:13
by10 photos she signed both of them and
9:16
uh yeah that makes two voice actresses
9:18
from the Disney uh princesses for my
9:21
collection uh just in the last month so
9:23
pretty cool all right here's a cool one
9:25
from Kathleen Daniel she's an artist and
9:27
she contributed to the Star Wars Galaxy
9:30
trading card series uh basically this is
9:32
a longrunning series starting back in
9:34
the 90s and still going on today and
9:36
they feature art from the Star Wars
9:38
universe and um a lot of this art is um
9:42
you know brand new to the series and
9:44
some of it's taken from stuff that's
9:46
been previously used but I have a big
9:48
collection of artist signed cards from
9:50
this series and Kathleen Daniels is the
9:53
latest one that I've added haven't added
9:55
too many recently but I'm super happy to
9:56
get another one always adding to my big
9:59
grown collection um Kathleen was kind
10:01
enough to sign three cards for me um
10:03
didn't quite have time to answer my
10:04
questions but uh that's okay you know
10:07
I'm super happy with getting the cards
10:09
back signed all right here's a cool one
10:11
this one from Tony Larusa i actually had
10:13
a box of autographed baseball cards and
10:16
this ticket stub was just like hanging
10:18
out in there didn't say like what teams
10:20
or anything were on it so I looked up
10:22
the series looked up the game three uh
10:24
for 1988 World Series and I found out
10:26
that Tony Larusa uh was the manager for
10:30
one of the teams back then so I sent him
10:32
a request asked him to sign and boom
10:33
here it is i got a signed ticket stub
10:36
from 1988 signed by Tony Larusa so
10:38
pretty happy with that one all right
10:40
we're going to kind of rapid fire
10:41
through some of these last ones these
10:42
are just signed index cards uh I'm just
10:45
going to go over them real quick here we
10:46
got Jan Debont Abby Trot who is a
10:49
wonderful voice actress uh not only just
10:51
signed for me but she also did a nice
10:53
little note here very cool of her uh
10:55
Britney Ashworth and Kim
10:59
Faber all right here we got some more we
11:01
got Stephven Collins Tad Stones Jordan
11:04
Charnie and of course not last but not
11:07
least for this group Haley Atwell now I
11:10
would have loved to get her on an 8 by10
11:11
i saw some beautifully signed 8 by10s uh
11:13
by Haley of course from the MCU uh but
11:17
this was all the way to the UK i'm in
11:19
the US so that would have been very cost
11:21
prohibitive so I was not able to send
11:23
her a photo but hey I'll take a signed
11:25
index card i love that i can always
11:26
frame it with a nice photo so happy with
11:28
that all right let's go see some more
11:30
all right the next round we've got a
11:32
Kevin Bacon i'll let you guys debate on
11:34
the authenticity of that one uh Candace
11:36
Kea Eth Murray Abram and Paul Stoie all
11:41
right now we've got Aaron Eckhart of
11:43
course Batman fame here George Ruben of
11:46
Star Wars fame Douglas Bar and Deborah
11:49
Winger and last but not least Dr anthony
11:53
Fouchy of course the man who saved the
11:55
country from COVID and Fia Sabon so very
11:59
happy with these successes overall hey
12:01
guys I'm so happy that you guys join me
12:03

12:05
