Wilson Bethel (Dex / Bullseye) sits down to talk Daredevil past and present—how a role that once gave him anxiety attacks became a career favorite, why the Disney era feels different, and what fans can expect from the next chapter.
Highlights you’ll hear:
Back in the suit: after the strikes and becoming a new dad, that call to return was a relief—and a rush.
Netflix → Disney: bigger budgets, upgraded gear, and creative leadership that still honors the original tone.
Dex’s evolution: locked away, medicated, and forced into a deal—new layers of his psyche open up.
Fights & training: the stunt team is elite; lots of prep, lots of stretching—plus the story of breaking his hand punching the “wrong” spot in a wall during S3.
Charlie & Vincent: deep respect for Charlie Cox’s leadership and Vincent D’Onofrio’s presence—showing up sharp raises everyone’s game.
Music & sitcom picks: Bullseye’s playlist skews 80s emo (think The Smiths). WandaVision rescue? He jokes Newman from Seinfeld.
Day job “what if”: dart pro… or starting pitcher for the Dodgers.
Matchups & wishes: he’d love crossovers—yes, even a shot at Spider-Man.

Please welcome the Johnson Wilson Bethl.
0:11
Welcome. Welcome. Should we just do this
0:13
thing standing or what?
0:14
Whatever you want to do. You're on top
0:16
of the table. Let's get on top.
0:18
[Applause]
0:19
It is a pleasure to have you here. How's
0:21
your Space Con experience been so far?
0:23
Yeah, great, man. I'm psyched to be here
0:25
in San Antonio with you guys. Great
0:27
city, lovely weather. Let's go.
0:30
Lovely weather. Yes and no. But welcome.
0:33
Welcome. Uh we got a lot of great
0:36
questions here. Uh actually I love this
0:38
question. I put it right on top. The
0:40
question simply is how are you today?
0:43
I'm doing great. I'm doing great. Yeah.
0:45
Thrilled to be here. I know it's a
0:47
disappointment obviously not to have
0:48
Charlie and Vincent here. So appreciate
0:50
you guys showing up and supporting
0:52
regardless. And uh you know I know that
0:54
they wanted to be here. So I'll do my
0:56
best impressions of both of them. and we
0:57
can have sort of like a three-way
0:59
conversation.
1:00
No, we appreciate you being here and
1:02
we'll just FaceTime them later. Sorry.
1:03
Perfect.
1:05
Like I said, a lot of great questions, a
1:06
lot of fun stuff here. Uh I want to
1:08
start off uh is where's Levy at or Levi?
1:14
All the way back there question. It's so
1:17
hot. Do you prefer sharks or whales?
1:22
Uh I don't know.
1:24
I think you I think whales. I think I'm
1:25
a whale guy. Yeah. Cody Cody writes in
1:28
the deep stuff first. Let's go.
1:29
I'm trying to. I just love I was having
1:32
some of these. All right. Here's the
1:33
photo. I like this one, too. Jonathan H.
1:37
There's Jonathan H right there. Favorite
1:39
dish of all time. This is our favorite
1:41
dish.
1:42
Yeah.
1:43
Uh, I would have to say saucer.
1:46
[Music]
1:48
Plastic paper.
1:52
No, it's it's it's really a pleasure to
1:54
have you here. Uh you've had such a
1:56
versatile career. Like I said, heart
1:58
Dixie, you know, double between. What
2:03
keeps you chasing new challenges as an
2:06
athlete? I mean, that's exactly it. You
2:08
know, I think I'm always looking for
2:10
things to challenge me. Um ways to
2:14
um expand my myself creatively and and
2:18
sort of venture out into unknown
2:20
territories. I I tend to find that the
2:22
things that that are scary to me and
2:24
that feel really uncertain are probably
2:26
the things that are worth leaning into.
2:28
And and that's um proven true in my
2:30
career. When I first um got offered the
2:34
the bullseye roll decks, it was
2:37
terrifying. I I was like having I was
2:40
having like anxiety attacks about it not
2:42
I was like I don't know if I can do
2:44
this. Um but then it's it's proven to be
2:47
one of my favorite roles I've ever
2:48
played. So, you know, sometimes the the
2:51
the things that that scare you the most
2:53
are things that draw you in and and
2:54
that's what I would continue to look for
2:56
in my career.
2:57
Yeah, we're excited you're in this role.
2:59
Uh you just mentioned getting the role
3:00
for the original series and then when
3:02
they told you you're coming back for a
3:04
whole different one. What was the
3:06
difference of that phone call?
3:08
Uh the difference of that phone call was
3:11
that uh we had been the whole industry
3:14
had been shut down for you know
3:15
basically a year because there had been
3:17
a a writer strike and then an actor
3:19
strike and I had also just had a baby.
3:22
So I've been out of work for like a year
3:23
and a half and uh and I had a mouth a
3:27
new mouth to feed. So, I was like, I
3:29
think I think I need to work. And then I
3:31
got the call and uh yeah, anyway. Uh it
3:34
was a great relief. And of course, like
3:36
just it's been um an amazing uh an
3:40
amazing thing to be back with that group
3:42
of of uh actors and producers and
3:45
creatives. Like we really do have the
3:48
best team in the world working on
3:49
Daredevil, Born Again. And uh and I
3:52
think you see it in terms of what you
3:53
see on screen. like every bit of
3:57
creativity of uh artistic in um
4:02
ingenuity and integrity. It's all there
4:03
on screen and and we have so much we put
4:06
so much heart into that show and I think
4:08
it it's you know I think that's part of
4:10
what gives the fans a great experience
4:12
of watching.
4:13
Yeah. The fans have been loving the
4:15
show. What was, you know, the
4:16
transition? Well, first off, what was
4:17
the biggest difference and similarities
4:19
from when it was a Netflix series and
4:21
then when it became a Disney Plus
4:23
series?
4:24
Yeah. Uh, I mean, the the biggest one
4:26
that I noticed right off is we just had
4:28
more money.
4:30
Uh, the budget, you know, we were
4:32
suddenly it was suddenly we had Disney
4:34
money. Um, when the, you know, keep in
4:36
mind that when the show was on Netflix,
4:38
that was still like earlyish days of
4:40
Netflix. So Netflix wasn't like the
4:42
juggernaut at that time that it is now.
4:45
They didn't have hundreds of millions of
4:47
dollars to throw around on stuff. So
4:49
yeah, when when when I stepped on the
4:51
set the first day on the on board again,
4:53
I was like, "Wow, they got better
4:55
catering." Uh,
4:58
and I mean other than that, I you know,
5:02
nothing has been like so pronounced. You
5:06
know, one of the amazing things that I
5:08
think they did very right when they
5:10
rejiggered um the first season of Born
5:13
Again was bringing in uh Daario, who
5:17
came from the Netflix world. He he was
5:19
the showrunner on Punisher. Um so he
5:23
knew very much what the world was. He
5:25
knew what the tone was. And once the
5:28
show found its way again um creatively
5:32
then I think it really has stayed very
5:34
true to the original spirit.
5:37
Yeah. I remember when that show came to
5:38
Netflix. I was like Netflix is on fire
5:41
now. Like it was like adding value in my
5:43
head. I was like this is what we've been
5:44
waiting for.
5:45
Yeah. Hell yeah.
5:46
How how familiar were were you with you
5:48
know Daredevil or Marvel before this
5:50
role adjusted to you? How how deep in
5:51
that that world? I mean, I was familiar
5:54
with certain corners of Marvel, but I
5:56
was not familiar with Daredevil um
5:58
really at all. I I grew up reading I was
6:00
like a big Silver Surfer fan. Silver
6:03
fans out there.
6:05
Sort of a random one.
6:08
Um yeah.
6:10
Uh my my brother was like a huge
6:12
Spider-Man guy, so I like Venom and all
6:14
that. So, I I got into Spidey through
6:16
him and um some X-Men, but no, I wasn't
6:19
really uh I wasn't really hip to
6:21
Daredevil basically at all. Um so, or
6:24
Bullseye for that matter. Um so, it was
6:27
yeah, just so cool to get opened up into
6:30
the world of those characters through
6:32
the show originally. Um cuz I started
6:35
watching the show before I was on the
6:36
show. Um, and then, um, and then getting
6:40
into the comics a bit more as I got
6:41
involved in the show and now getting to
6:44
be involved with the fans of the show,
6:46
which is like its whole own incredible
6:48
part of that universe. Um, which I just
6:51
think is I mean it's just the most
6:52
incredible thing in the world to me that
6:54
we get to come to these things and meet
6:56
you guys and um and just see how much
6:59
love there is for these characters that
7:00
will long precedes our involvement in it
7:04
and will long uh carry on after we are
7:06
no longer a part of it. So it's, you
7:08
know, the love that you guys show for
7:10
the show and these comics and characters
7:12
is so so so cool. And we and we love
7:15
having you part of it, that's for sure.
7:16
Right.
7:21
Just like a horror film, Marvel
7:22
television is just as important. So, I'm
7:24
glad, you know, we have all these new
7:25
products coming out, you know, when it
7:27
comes to deep diving deep into the MCU.
7:30
You played charming and grounded roles
7:32
before, but Bullseye is a whole
7:33
different piece, that's for sure. So, is
7:36
there a certain trick of tapping into
7:37
that darkness and just uh not just
7:40
letting my letting my true colors shine,
7:42
you know?
7:44
Uh,
7:44
were you watching something to prepare
7:46
for this role or
7:48
uh I mean, look, I you know, I've been
7:51
I've been watching great villainous
7:54
performances my whole life, you know,
7:56
and so I think a lot of that had sort of
7:59
seeped in over the years of things that
8:00
I loved and seeing different types of
8:03
bad guys played on screen. Um, but one
8:08
of the things that I think makes the
8:09
role of Dex so special is how human he
8:12
is. And um, and I think that's also part
8:14
of what has uh has really resonated with
8:17
audiences that he's not just like, you
8:19
know, some sort of like mustache
8:20
twirling bad guy. Um, and and that to me
8:24
is the thing that I just continually
8:27
find new inspiration and uh is is in his
8:30
humanity. He's a really messed up guy
8:33
who is trying to find his way in all
8:37
kinds of really
8:39
dramatically bad circumstances.
8:43
Um, and you know, sort of murdered a lot
8:44
of people along the way, but you know,
8:46
whatever. Um, anyway, uh, but yeah, it's
8:50
it's what makes the role, I think, both
8:52
really really fun is that, uh, and
8:54
challenging is that there's this real
8:56
emotional humanity to it. Um, but also
8:59
it it's what connects I think the
9:02
viewers to the to the character in a
9:03
different way. Yeah, people are loving
9:06
uh your both side that's for sure. I got
9:08
a question here from Alex and I can't
9:10
read the second name Alex and friends.
9:13
Where's Alex in France? Somewhere over
9:15
there. Uh they're asking in what ways do
9:17
you think your character evolved from
9:19
the original series to Born
9:22
and maybe like what on paper has like
9:24
kind of changed, right? The way you see
9:26
it.
9:27
Um,
9:29
it's a good question. Well, I mean, in
9:32
some ways, I think he's more desperate
9:35
than ever when we find him in Born
9:37
Again. Um, I mean, he's literally been
9:40
like locked away,
9:43
heavily medicated, basically without the
9:45
use of his mind or body for years in a
9:48
psycho board. And uh, and his only way
9:51
out of that was to make this deal with
9:53
the devil, right? Um and uh and and so
9:58
that's you know that's what sort of sets
10:00
him on the path of born again. Um, what
10:03
I have good news for you, which is that
10:04
in the new season that'll be out next
10:06
year, there are whole new avenues um of
10:10
Dex's interesting, dynamic, messed up
10:13
psyche that we get to explore. And um
10:16
and that's really really fun stuff is is
10:18
on the way for for Bullseye Fins.
10:22
You
10:22
really have to go and ask you what to
10:24
expect. You just gave it to us. I
10:26
thought you were asking what what can
10:27
you deliver to us? What can we expect?
10:29
any physical changes too or some new
10:31
looks or anything?
10:32
I get calf implants. Um but other than
10:35
that, nothing major.
10:40
Um
10:42
uh yeah, I mean, look, there's there's a
10:44
ton of stuff to look forward to. I I
10:46
think honestly some of the best action
10:48
sequences of the whole show are coming
10:50
in the the new season that'll be out in
10:52
March.
10:54
I think the coolest bullseye fight
10:56
sequence that we have yet to see uh on
10:58
the show is is part of the season and
11:00
like one that truly is uh
11:04
[ __ ] awesome
11:08
man. I'll tell you that excited.
11:10
But yeah, I mean look, man, there's
11:11
there's a ton to look forward to in this
11:13
season. And as some of you might know,
11:15
we've already got picked up for another
11:16
for a new season that we will start
11:18
shooting next year. So there's a lot
11:21
more Daredevil. a lot more bullseye on
11:23
the way. Kingpin and and all the rest
11:25
and and some other fun additions as
11:27
well. Uh question from Tim here is uh
11:30
where's Tim at?
11:33
Hard to see. I see Tim. I see you, sir.
11:35
You have you have obviously a better
11:36
view than I do. Uh what was the most
11:39
difficult part of the the fight scenes?
11:42
You know, was there any contact with
11:44
Charlie as well? Accidental contact any
11:46
of the fight scenes and you just
11:48
mentioned Sure. It was accidental. Yeah.
11:51
Uh, no. Look, um, the fight scenes are
11:56
always challenging. It's a it's a huge
11:58
amount of planning. It's a huge amount
12:00
of choreography.
12:02
Um, they are big undertakings, but they
12:05
are also
12:07
some of the funnest parts of the show,
12:09
you know. So, um, I think we all take a
12:12
huge amount of pride in those um,
12:15
scenes. We put a ton of work into them
12:17
and, you know, we get a little banged up
12:20
and bruised here and there just from
12:23
the, you know, the sheer physicality of
12:25
it. But I personally have not caughten a
12:28
straight punch from any of the guys. I
12:30
don't know that Charlie has. Um, when we
12:33
were doing season 3 of Daredevil, I uh
12:36
there's a scene where I'm sort of like I
12:40
would call it crashing out a little bit.
12:42
Uh, and uh, and I and I punched a hole
12:45
in the wall and um, I sort of neglected
12:51
to hit the right place on the wall,
12:53
which is ironic for a guy who prides
12:54
himself on having the world's best hand
12:57
and I broke my hand. Um, but uh, other
13:00
than that, it's been relatively uh,
13:03
injuryfree on the set doing these these
13:05
fight sequences.
13:06
What's the training like? But how do you
13:08
prepare going when you know you're about
13:09
to film and there's fight scenes are
13:10
coming? Especially with the latest
13:12
season or crazier like what's the
13:14
training there?
13:15
I mean for me at age 41 a lot of
13:18
stretching man.
13:20
Yeah. Um yeah I mean look we have the
13:24
literally like the best stunt team in
13:26
the world. So, um, working closely with
13:29
these guys, you know, the more that you,
13:32
the more time you spend with them, the
13:33
more that you you hang around them,
13:35
listen to them, uh, and and work with
13:37
them, the better you are prepared to
13:40
ultimately execute on the day. Um, and
13:43
and that's, you know, that's really the
13:45
name of the game. These guys are are the
13:46
the absolute peak. But, uh, yeah, it's
13:49
just about, you know, trying to keep
13:50
your body in the best shape possible so
13:52
that it can that it can handle, you
13:54
know, what is a a pretty physically
13:56
taxing, um, job in some ways.
13:59
Yeah. I can't wait to see those fight
14:01
scenes in the upcoming season. Uh,
14:03
Charlie Cox is Daredevil. I We love him.
14:06
He's awesome. He's right. He's all
14:08
right. Right.
14:10
Of course, that would come for me. That
14:11
makes so much sense. I love it. So,
14:13
that's what I was going to ask is what
14:14
was your first impression, you know,
14:16
working with him, meeting him, and then
14:18
you realize I got to hate this guy
14:19
pretty much. I should go after him.
14:21
No, man. Look, uh, Charlie, I'm sure
14:23
some of you guys have met him at these
14:25
things over the years. Um, he is truly
14:28
one of the the kindest, most generous,
14:32
um, just a a real dude, a real a real
14:35
bench. and uh it's a he's you know it's
14:38
a great honor to work with him and and
14:40
he just sets the the whole tone not only
14:43
for the show but for like the show that
14:47
reaches out and and touches people. I
14:49
think that he there's just we couldn't
14:51
be luckier and the leader that we have
14:53
in him and as far as like you know
14:55
turning it on on on camera when we're
14:58
facing off against each other you know
14:59
that's that's the fun part of getting to
15:00
be an actor is you get to make believe.
15:02
But uh yeah, we we uh there's nothing
15:05
but love.
15:07
That's a great cast indeed. Uh we got a
15:09
question here. No name on it, but
15:12
they're asking what do you think
15:13
Bullseye/Dex's
15:14
music taste is like.
15:18
Uh
15:20
well, it's probably not Katy Perry.
15:24
Um, yeah. Uh, yeah. I I think I'm like
15:29
I'm imagining like a lot of like very
15:31
like emo a lot of very emo 80s stuff.
15:35
That's what I I'm thinking like the
15:38
Smiths probably are are in there quite a
15:41
bit. I'm just thinking like that's what
15:43
I loved. I'm like, "Oh, I'm becoming the
15:45
bad guy here." Listening to that thing.
15:49
I have to rethink my music taste now.
15:51
Thanks for that. Look, I mean, I love
15:54
the Smiths, but you know,
15:57
uh, question
15:58
also good music to murder people by. So,
16:00
no take it. There you go.
16:02
Another question here. They're asking,
16:05
"If Bullseye was pulled into Westview
16:07
from W Division, what sitcom character
16:10
would he be?"
16:11
That's a funny question. Uh,
16:15
dang, I might need to think about that.
16:17
What sitcom?
16:18
Maybe a sitcom you would love to watch.
16:20
Maybe like Newman from Seinfeld.
16:23
just like that.
16:25
The other great arch villain of all
16:26
time.
16:29
Oh, I like that. So, you're a psychop.
16:31
I'm I'm afraid
16:35
episode off top of your head or just
16:36
off the top of my head. Oh, I I I think
16:40
it's great to see it.
16:42
Honestly, no. Not off the top of my
16:44
head.
16:44
I think a lot of
16:47
I I love that show.
16:49
Uh a question here from Matt. We have
16:52
another Matt here
16:55
somewhere out there. He is asking if
16:57
Bullseye did become a super villain,
16:59
what would his 9to5 be? And it says not
17:03
FBI to CA. What was the actual 9 to5 be?
17:06
Normales job, right? Like a like a
17:09
professional darts player.
17:12
Um or a postman.
17:14
Yeah, right. Yeah. I mean, the Dodgers
17:17
could have used him last night. I'll
17:18
tell you that.
17:22
Um
17:23
yeah, I I think I think he he's he
17:26
definitely should have been the starting
17:27
pitcher for the Dodgers for sure.
17:32
Uh another question here is no name on
17:35
this one either, but what other
17:37
superhero or villain would you want to
17:39
play and why? Well, like what was like a
17:40
hero you grew up obviously other than
17:42
Silver Surfer or is there maybe some
17:44
other heroes you want to be when you're
17:45
I mean so honestly I think Silver Surfer
17:47
would be freaking amazing, right? Like
17:50
how badass is that? Just getting to like
17:52
cruise around space on your surfboard.
17:55
That sounds pretty fun. Um so I' I've
17:58
definitely put him up there for sure. Um
18:01
I think anybody anybody who gets to like
18:04
Spidey honestly too like like the
18:06
swinging that's looks really fun. I just
18:08
like I mean I think anybody needs to fly
18:11
or have something close to flying would
18:14
be one of my dreams cuz that's one of my
18:16
dreams.
18:17
Well, we don't have the other Silver
18:19
Surfer yet in the possibilities in this
18:20
multiverse.
18:21
There you go. Put it out there.
18:23
Yeah, God willing.
18:25
Uh a fun question here. Don't name him
18:27
on this. Do you think you could beat
18:29
Spider-Man if you caught him unprepared?
18:32
Oh, I think I could beat Spider-Man if I
18:33
caught him prepared. Oh,
18:36
[Applause]
18:37
look, man. Bullseye is a dangerous mofo,
18:41
so uh I think he could give Spidey a run
18:44
for his money.
18:46
Yeah.
18:47
Oh, I love hearing that. I would love to
18:49
see that. Are Are you praying maybe
18:51
there's some way that can happen? There
18:53
there are so many crossovers I'd love to
18:55
see for for Bullseye and you know for
18:58
the MCU in general, but yeah, I mean I
19:00
think you know
19:03
at least a handful come to mind I would
19:05
be like dude I would salivate the
19:07
opportunity. So let's let's hope for
19:09
some of those. I don't think Bullseye
19:11
should be limited to to just having to
19:13
face off against Fisk and Daredevil. I
19:17
love that. All right, we want to see
19:18
more of that, right?
19:20
That's you.
19:24
There's a fun name, but uh do you think
19:26
Dex and your character uh Riley would
19:28
get along in that if Riley?
19:32
Riley. Who's Riley?
19:33
Oh, Riley. No, sorry. Riley Damore.
19:37
Oh god. Didn't see that one.
19:40
Sorry. Yeah, that's from
19:43
a call back. That's a call back
19:44
question.
19:45
Yeah. Yeah. Uh
19:47
you maybe honestly. Yeah, they might get
19:51
together. They're both kind of like
19:52
weirdos in their own way. Yeah,
19:56
I throw that one. I look like a funny
19:57
one right there.
19:59
Uh, what was, you know, a memorable or
20:02
surprising fan interaction you have
20:04
since taking on the band's eye? How
20:06
quickly do you realize you become like
20:08
really a fan favorite almost instantly
20:10
and everyone's obviously rooting to see
20:11
more of you?
20:12
Yeah. Yeah. Well, I mean, you know,
20:13
that's sort of like the interesting
20:15
thing about the the the way that the
20:17
cookie crumble with all this, you know,
20:18
season 3 came out and um obviously there
20:22
was like this amazing introduction to
20:24
the character. I I felt so honored to be
20:27
part of the show and and just have this
20:29
whole like creation story um in that in
20:33
that season of the show, but then it was
20:35
cancelled within like a couple months of
20:38
it coming out. So, we didn't I didn't I
20:40
I never got to do like this kind of
20:43
thing at that time. And then keep in
20:45
mind the show was off the air for
20:48
whatever 6 years, 7 years. Um, so it's
20:51
really only in the last like couple
20:53
years. I mean, obviously like people
20:55
will come up to me over the years and,
20:58
you know, say how much they love the
21:00
character and they love the show. Um,
21:02
but it it really hasn't been really just
21:05
until these last two years since the
21:06
show has come back that um that I've
21:10
gotten to see really firsthand coming to
21:12
to cons and and just as the excitement
21:15
around the show has sort of like
21:18
rekindled um just how how much love
21:21
there there is for for the characters.
21:24
It's been it's been mindblowing honestly
21:26
to me and and I'm just so grateful and
21:29
thankful for you guys for for showing so
21:31
much love to the character and and um
21:34
and it mean yeah just it means the world
21:36
to me man it's it's it it's incredible
21:39
we love having you in this world that's
21:41
for sure
21:44
we talked about Charlie but I want to
21:46
talk about Vincent I mean he has a horse
21:48
he reckon with and such amazing body of
21:51
work from the you know What was it like
21:53
stepping into the scenes with that kind
21:55
of energy? And was there something just
21:56
watching him work that just kind of like
21:59
this is something I can carry on with me
22:00
cuz he's just amazing?
22:01
Yeah. I mean, dude, look, Vincent's a
22:03
freaking legend. Uh, and and a
22:07
character. He's he's like, you know, you
22:10
step on a set with Vincent and he's an
22:12
impo. He is a a physically and
22:15
emotionally imposing presence. He's a
22:18
big guy. He's got like a big energy
22:22
around him and and he's also just got,
22:25
you know, decades of of experience in
22:28
this business working
22:30
on some of the biggest coolest projects
22:32
ever, you know. So, um, so he brings all
22:35
of that into the room with him when
22:38
you're, you know, sitting across from in
22:40
a scene. Um, which is an amazing thing
22:43
because it it challenges you to rise to
22:45
your agame. And if you're not there,
22:47
trust me, Vincent will let you know.
22:51
Uh, and if he's got thoughts about, you
22:53
know, how, you know, and he takes, I
22:56
think, his his role as sort of like an
22:58
elder statesman, um, actor and an elder
23:01
statesman on the show very seriously.
23:03
You know, he, uh, he's a mentor to
23:05
people. He he takes people under his
23:07
wing. He's encouraging
23:09
um, and he's just a, you know, a fullon
23:12
real deal artist. And so, um, I feel
23:15
incredibly lucky to to have gotten to
23:17
work as much as I have with Vincent on
23:19
this show. And, uh, and I've learned a
23:21
lot from him. And also just I've learned
23:23
a lot from him just by example, you
23:25
know, just sort of taking him in him in
23:27
his process doing his work. Uh, he's
23:29
he's a a truly great dude and and an
23:33
inspiration. Yeah, for sure. Yeah, we
23:35
love him as our kingpin. All right.
23:37
[Applause]
23:41
Show that. I don't really feel right all
23:44
the time 100% but I feel like Daredevil
23:46
from day one everything was 100% cast
23:48
perfectly and it seems like the cast has
23:50
strong chemistry. So what really makes
23:52
this group click so well together?
23:55
I mean, the first thing that comes to
23:57
mind is just that it's it is truly the
24:00
the least ego I have ever been around on
24:06
a set ever, which is incredible when you
24:09
think of like the caliber of the talent
24:11
that is involved in the project and the
24:13
careers that individually all these
24:15
people have had. You know, there's
24:17
there's there's um it's a recipe to have
24:19
a lot of divas around. Um, but the I I
24:23
really, you know, I said it earlier, but
24:26
like this it is a really special group
24:29
of people that had just they lead they
24:32
lead with the heart, man. And and
24:34
there's just so little ego involved in
24:36
it. And and I think all of that is what
24:38
translates um to making the show
24:41
special. Everybody's just trying to give
24:43
the absolute best performance and not
24:46
let anything else get in the way um of
24:49
of you know making the best show
24:51
possible.
24:52
Yeah. And we're loving it. Right.
24:58
Lastly, I want to ask you with the show,
25:01
you know, what did what has this series
25:03
from beginning to now teach you about
25:05
storytelling for yourself as a
25:07
performer?
25:10
Uh yeah, I mean I think I you know I
25:13
sort of hinted at it earlier. You know,
25:14
one of the the big things that it taught
25:16
me in that doing that first season was
25:18
just to to trust taking the risks of um
25:24
of really challenging work, you know. Um
25:27
I didn't trust it at first and I was
25:30
[ __ ] scared shitless about about the
25:33
the the role and the and and and uh how
25:36
it would be received and all that stuff.
25:37
And and I think that's been a huge
25:39
lesson for me. Just like give yourself
25:41
over to to the work, give yourself over
25:43
to the character and and um and sort of
25:47
let let it out let it out there, let it
25:49
let it resonate with people on its own.
25:51
Um so that's been an amazing lesson for
25:53
me. Um it's been an incredible lesson in
25:57
patience. when you have to wait six
25:59
years thinking that you're uh thinking
26:01
that you know your character might never
26:03
come back but hoping that he will and
26:05
then it does you're like oh my god that
26:07
was that was crazy. Um so yeah um and uh
26:12
and then just a lesson in continuing
26:15
gratitude again for for all the support
26:17
that we get from our incredible fan
26:18
fandom.
26:22
Now,
26:24
you are our bull. We appreciate you
26:26
joining us today and we're looking more
26:28
from you for sure. Hell yeah. Thank you.
26:30
Thank you guys all for coming out.
26:40
[Applause]
