Content: The Betancourt family has just moved from the projects of East LA to a tenement building in Spanish Harlem, NY, hoping for a fresh start and better life. Immediately, they feel like outcasts and are not welcomed by their eclectic neighbors as they had hoped. A severe snowstorm traps everybody inside the building on Christmas Eve, so it appears the Betancourts will be spending their first holiday in their new home in isolation. But when the building is overtaken by a horde of blood-thirsty, feral killer cats, the family and their new neighbors must overcome their differences and work together if they are going to survive until Christmas morning.
