Synopsis: Abby Parrish, the ultra-liberal host of the world’s top podcast Crime After Crime, built her empire dissecting the brutal murder of Tom Hutcherson. The case seemed closed—his troubled brother Darryl was convicted—but Abby’s deep dives cast doubt without delivering answers, turning her devoted audience against her. When a prison blackout allows Darryl to escape, he seeks out Abby, desperate to prove his innocence. Sensing a chance to redeem herself and finally give her listeners closure, Abby reluctantly teams up with him. Their investigation leads them from a stolen piece of evidence to a suspicious connection with a local synagogue, and a string of increasingly strange suspects. But when Abby uncovers the murder weapon hidden in Darryl’s own secret stash, her convictions crumble. Faced with the possibility she’s been defending a killer, Abby must pursue one final lead—risking everything for the truth.
