4:30

4:35
it uh uh and right now uh this season uh season 2 of toilet B Hanukkah
4:43
is premiering at play suasa the evil twin and next season we're getting season 2 of windbreaker it's a new show
4:50
you got to check it out in 3 years you're all going to be screaming for it when you finally go watch it uh but I'm
4:56
so grateful to be here and uh I love um Corpus Christie and uh I encourage all
5:02
of you to to tell them how much you want me to come back take notes take
5:08
notes well we are very happy to have you guys here already very great energy I'm kind of jealous that I'm not eating some
5:14
but it's okay uh yeah uh that being said like you said Q&A get up there get your
5:20
questions don't be shy they want to talk to you I will kick it off with something that is directly related to the reason
5:25
that I'm sure most of these people are here um so show is over without giving
5:31
too much information your characters all had very vital roles in series and interesting interactions with each other
5:38
but there are a few it's okay you
5:44
there no spoiler Austin just went I saw the energy shift and I was
5:50
like I feel mad so that being said all your characters have interacted with each other but some of your characters
5:55
have interacted much less than others your character
6:00
which character do you wish your character had more interaction and more
6:06
um I mean I guess more interaction and more depth with can we all answer Marco just to
6:13
make our there you go all we're all going to give that answer um it's hard to say uh I think
6:21
eana Sensei is truly a genius in crafting the story and every single
6:27
episode moves that story forward in such a beautiful way I I don't know if I
6:34
would want to change things um so when you start tinkering with it it doesn't
6:39
fit so perfect you got to respect the vision yeah exactly you since they created something
6:45
that like is everything well actually let's start here uh by show of hands who
6:51
has seen all of a tapon Titan I show up hands who has not
6:57
finished the T on Titan all right all right that's why we're not doing any spoilers and by show of hands who has
7:03
never seen a tapack on Titan yeah change that yeah actually for
7:10
you guys it's like a lighthearted uh comedy um yeah so if you have like a day you
7:19
need like a little pick me up that's when you started watch it with your grandma
7:25
Yeah Grand uh so yeah so we're going to try
7:31
and avoid spoilers as much as possible because I I was not spoiled throughout the course of the show um actually Bryce
7:37
and I both chose to not read ahead to not watch ahead so that we were experiencing everything as the characters were as well and it made it
7:44
so special to get to the the very end I mean I had to get off Twitter and all kinds of other things but not spoiled to
7:51
the end uh and so let's not spoil anything but um I don't think I would change anything about the story either
7:56
because everything once you finish the entirety of the work everything from episode one all the way through it all
8:03
has a significance and it all means something and like even when you're like oh it's a beach episode it's like no it's not no it's
8:09
not I don't think I can really add anything you guys have already nailed it uh well my character obviously I
8:17
think he would want to spend more time with John um cuz they had they had a real Bond and it would have been nice to see
8:24
more of that relationship play out because I think without Jean in Marco life he's really like half a
8:32
man uh so that being said we're going to start the q& but just a reminder no spoilers all right first up let's get
8:39
your question what's good y' what was y'all's big breakout
8:49
role I that's a tough question to answer um it it's it's hard to like identify
8:56
like a moment where in our were kind of like known uh across different
9:03
conventions or across different like markets um I I can identify like the
9:09
show I was working on that first brought me to a panel uh that show is do you
9:15
guys remember that show so much fun I I play Mas mikita The
9:22
Ladies Man um I got invited after recording that show to a panel at an
9:28
event called though and uh our panel room had 2500 people I didn't know what
9:34
I was doing at all but I uh was on stage with people like Steve Bloom Yuri
9:40
lenthal Christen Freeman and um saw how much fun they were having and just kind
9:46
of leaned into it and have him look back so it was a the Ladi man that started me
9:52
off your first panel was with Steve Bloom that's I don't know where got
9:59
started you got started there bro right there my my career started quite a bit
10:06
before that I actually worked with Steve quite a while ago uh I'm on Cowboy bbop
10:11
also I don't know if you know that um they go to Mars and there's all these little orphans and there's one with a
10:18
little toy he like look at this look at this that's me as a little kid he had a pot on his head and in the script it
10:24
said pothead so I'm pothead from Cowboy deot that's high on the res
10:31
uh yeah I I've been voice acting uh for over 20 years now uh and I I did not
10:38
start my uh convention career with SE blue uh I started my convention career like I think I was on the stage by
10:44
myself they're like this is your panel I like I don't know what to do I think I was like 20 um yeah I'm very very
10:50
fortunate in the fact that I have been so uh fortunate to be cast uh I think that there uh anytime I'm recognized for
10:57
any of my work it's always incredibly um but I can't name just one and you uh
11:03
I guess the first one that uh would have been uh one of my first leads for a studio called ad films it was way back
11:10
when about 21 years ago and it was a the the uh we we were at a convention in
11:17
Houston Texas called onon and the director of the Japanese version of the
11:24
of the dove flew all the way out to come and see the dove Premiere with us and we had a packed theater
11:29
and it was it was uh it was kind of that was also the time when I you know was on
11:34
a panel for the first time and the director was one of my he personal Heroes so uh it was it was called the
11:41
Wallflower it was uh romantic comedy uh uh kind of a reverse AR sort of thing
11:46
it's one girl and like four beautiful guys that you know like you [Music]
11:51
do and uh yeah that was that was kind of the first time that I felt like my
11:57
career was was really starting to you know get momentum I'd like to think that my real
12:04
breakout role hasn't happened yet yes sir always reaching
12:13
higher yes Disney come to
12:18
me uh um but so like I I mine was a slow
12:24
growth of uh you know I did a lot of Walla and then like my first named care
12:29
which was a huge deal was allac Connell from fairy tale I remember that being a big goal and then after that the same
12:36
director Tyler Walker gave me my first leading role which is I iua and is this zombie um and that was really fun but uh
12:46
and I had been going to like Library conventions and I spent a lot of time yeah doing I've been a lot of q&as with
12:52
me and 10 people um and yeah you're just sitting there and like let's all sit together this is weird uh but uh this is
13:01
actually if we were to if we were to Peg like where um I started actually getting
13:06
like a convention career it was with uh Attack on Titan cuz the first one there
13:11
was they invited like uh all of us to a big this is where I first hung out with
13:17
you actually nothing nothing it was in yeah
13:24
yeah uh a good time that was like my first conviction that's where I met my first convention manager um and then
13:32
after that I got Tokyo G and so that's like that Tokyo goul is the biggest certainly the biggest most impactful role that I've uh played and probably
13:39
the most influenced me kind of getting to do this and not also have a day job
13:45
um but yeah allk
13:51
you I didn't do anything weird I oh I don't remember that I was just worried
13:57
about myself hello hello before I ask my question I want to thank all of you for being here
14:03
and I want to thank you all for the work that you do and how how hard it can be and to take time on buiness schedules to
14:09
be [Applause] here and my question is for
14:15
Bryce yeah I'm looking very hard right now you can't tell oh multi thank you so
14:22
much for eating that you're welcome you're welcome your have you watched the swort online
14:28
of brid series on YouTu YouTube and if you have what is your thought on it um you know I haven't watched all of it
14:34
sorry as I have a mouthful of cinnamon roll no you're um but uh I have seen a little bit um the the team from
14:42
something witty they're very nice people they live in Canada uh and in Canada you can put toys
14:49
inside of candy um it's important so they make these giant Kinder Eggs for
14:55
miraculous ladybug they're huge they're like and there's a toy inside it'll make
15:01
them in the US my kids are a fan of miraculous ladybug we're not just like it did all of the swag and stuff that
15:08
comes from the show so they smuggled these giant eggs into the country to
15:13
give them to me to give to my kids so very nice post um I haven't watched the
15:19
a brid series I know a lot of people enjoy it um my thoughts on those is if
15:24
the the license holder if the original creators if they're offend or they don't
15:30
want someone utilizing their work in that way it probably should but if
15:35
people are enjoying it if people are discovering the show proper because of the Abri series who am I to say don't
15:44
make something fun that people enjoy um but it's all about when when we tell
15:50
these stories we do our best to keep the original intention of the manga in our
15:57
performances when we ad have them um we want that original intention in that line through the entire series uh to
16:06
kind of p h in to honor that story so when you're changing it that much and you're kind of having fun with it it's
16:12
fun but if the creator has a problem with it it's a
16:17
problem get that shot was a picture get that shot girl look at these lights they're so
16:25
cute you like third person till I stop and talk about them it was it's real cute I was like oh Samantha should see
16:31
this and so taking a picture of recording I have like Simon roll all
16:38
here so my cheek is going to be like she's going to know I'm I'm cheating on my diet now oh great so once again thank
16:46
you all so much for being here and also the best c r at Water Burger oh good job thank you for your
16:52
[Applause] question hi my question is for Bryce uh
16:57
so I just got around probably like 2020 awesome good time I just started attack
17:03
on TI but what's been your favorite line you've ever said it's so tough because there's so
17:10
many incredible moments um for for all of us um do you guys have favorite line
17:17
do you have a favorite line Austin we we've done a lot of panels together but we have not done a ton of panel it's all
17:23
nonverbal though you should start you should perform this is that okay my favorite is
17:34
this to great line yes thank you thank
17:40
you I I have a hard time narrowing it down
17:46
um there's like a moment of recovery for that it's okay
17:51
to um every season I feel like there's moments that stand out so I'll just go
17:58
way back to season one to one of my favorites uh best season it's it's great it's a great season yeah so it's the
18:05
first time and I'll try not to spoil for people who haven't watched the show Aaron gets bigger um there's this little
18:11
baby Titan and he just punts him and then he's stepping on this other Titan's neck and he goes get up get up let me
18:20
kill you again and again and again that's a good one
18:25
really thank you so much do you have do you have a favorite
18:32
L Arman says nothing but depressing
18:40
things oh my god there was one that he had it was a flashback uh kind of it stuck with me you know it was a
18:46
flashback when they're kids and uh Aaron stops Armen from getting beat up by those bullies again and he's he's asking
18:53
him he says why why do you how do you deal with it Arman how do you keep losing to these dudes and how do you
18:59
stand it and Armen says that's the thing Aaron I didn't lose cuz I didn't
19:05
run and yeah that I know right I
19:11
know that's my favorite I felt like it was really important that's sweet um
19:17
that's much sweeter than my line it's my favorite yours is like all Fields my
19:22
favorite line is uh I think it's season two when um mikas is having this moment
19:28
you know the crazy eye woman um and she says um you want compassion move on you want
19:36
Fair tough [ __ ] time is wasted Christa pick aide Aaron or the [ __ ] I'm going
19:44
to that [Applause]
19:53
one yeah Grace is badass do I have a ve that pops out when I do that line
19:59
you're totally like fing right now yeah no you're good you're totally good don't worry you know there is another good
20:04
line for [Applause] Armen so so this was a running joke all
20:12
through season one like I would deliver a line as Aaron and immediately do my Armen impression going Aaron
20:20
no and then everyone started doing it it it it matches yes a great one infectious
20:27
that's beautiful Aaron has terrible ideas hi so Bry I just want to say love
20:34
your work I've been a big cgo for like 10 years running now so this very exciting appreciate that thank you for
20:40
growing up listen to me sneak tat bus in the show I know awesome but uh a question I had for all of you is what
20:46
would be y'all's favorite opening or ending like for me my favorite ending is shop and I just was kind of curious
20:52
about y I still only know one lyric from my favorite opening which is the first
20:59
opening I think that one is just nostalgic and all I know is [Music] G I think the panel that we did with all
21:07
of us I still we all did that in the same stands out that is awesome um that
21:13
first opening is so nostalgic um but there is something special about
21:18
rumbling also rumbling was topping metal charts
21:24
over here in the US too during the time the yeah dead billboard charge
21:30
wow you could say they stomped their way over here that's his
21:40
job I'm going to go rumbling too what about you oh I have to go with the first season because it's clearly the
21:46
[Laughter] best best
21:53
characters um but I I do remember us trying to I remember trying to fake the
21:58
lyrics to The Deep song cuz we they made they made us all kind of f sing it I
22:04
wanted us to sing the full thing just yeah that was wonderful don't be shy do it
22:10
[Music] again beautiful his shirt
22:17
off no rules on the panel anymore let's go all right thank you thank you for
22:23
your question hi I have a question for all of you so what was your favorite character
22:29
to play like like ever it's really hard to pick like cuz like most of the time
22:34
we don't have like it's just nice to have work for one you know as actors um
22:41
and usually the characters that we play even if they're villains or whether you know they're big or small they all have
22:47
something that they're contributing to the yeah small
22:52
yeah they uh they they they always are bringing something to the story and
22:59
adding to the story and to the experience and so you know it's I don't
23:04
think I can ever say that I had a least favorite character like all my characters are are near and dear to me
23:10
in some way it's so competitive as a voice actor to get work is is very
23:16
challenging at these events you really clearly see our successes but what you
23:21
don't see is the graveyard of auditions that we weren't passed as um and there
23:27
are a lot lunar tails is hysteria I hated that character hated doing it hated watching
23:35
it the most obnoxious thing I had to do at 10:00 a.m. why why why why well it
23:41
cuz it hurt and I didn't accomplish it in the way that I wanted to and he had
23:46
this like laugh it was kind of like uh I can't even do it anymore it was kind of like muttly like sniply whiplash's dog
23:54
that like but then there would be reaching on top of that um sounds
24:03
fun it hurt thank you
24:10
thank uh hi um Mar I just wanted to say thank you for coming out to anime Corpus
24:15
Chrissy and take the time out your hard work appreciate that than let screaming you yeah and this is a question for
24:22
everyone what is what was y's favorite scenes to what was your most favorite scene to record in check on Titan you
24:30
have questions for all of us but you only thanked him for coming W
24:40
unreal I didn't have anything going
24:46
on it's it's in unspoken words it's okay and it it's it's
24:55
hard I supposed to point that out the question first you have to answer
25:00
first what's your favorite scene well I don't want to I don't want to bring any
25:06
spoilers wait could you do your favorite line one more time
25:11
too uh but my favorite thing about my character is that he kept coming back in flashbacks throughout multiple Seasons
25:19
where they just explained a little further what was going on with him but but you know the most meaningful moment
25:24
was uh uh it was uh when he's talking to Jean right
25:31
before he swings off and he gives him this like motivational speech and and he
25:36
I think there many ways he serves as a as as something to help the character
25:41
development of Sean um and I remember recording it too it was this big monologue and I was like wow I got some
25:48
screen time things are looking up and then the director was quiet for a
25:54
long time and he was just like oh uh oh that's right you're done get
26:03
out uh I loved every moment I'll tell you this here's here's what my favorite
26:08
scene is is the spin-off the junior high spin-off are we allow to 12 that because
26:15
uh uh Marco gets his day he lasts that whole season and he becomes student
26:23
president like they felt bad for him I like that I like how proud you are he
26:30
did it he my little boy so I don't know if you guys have
26:37
heard but Attack on Titans going to the big [Applause]
26:42
screen uh there's actually something after the
26:48
credits that you guys should stay for never leave before the credits and you
26:53
should definitely you absolutely need to check it out you need to watch after the credit credits he's coming to the
27:00
movie I might to leave early though cuz I'm supposed to be a rehearsal just just T it out stay after
27:07
the credit he won't tell you anything else okay I'll just tell him I got to do a car accident or something
27:12
perfect oh I'm terrible at piing favorites like I I think about how much
27:19
my life has changed since the start of the show uh we started recording a decade ago um so I was a very different
27:26
person I I very much grew as the characters were growing in the show I didn't have any kids when we started I
27:32
have three now uh we didn't know each other when we started and between as Auntie Trina to my kids
27:39
um um so yeah I have a hard time uh
27:45
choosing a particular moment in my life there's too many amazing scenes to choose
27:51
from my favorite [Music] scene no uh I think um I'm a big fan of
28:00
like uh Journeys and Adventures and things like that and as Bryce mentioned like we've been doing this sport some of
28:06
us have been doing this
28:16
[Music]
28:21
for so yeah um so yeah we've done a lot of changing as people as humans as
28:26
friends um saying no I know I
28:31
know it's been really really no that's it's been really really special um but I I always like the the bookends of an
28:38
adventure like when you're like okay this is amazing and uh then the chapter closes and I think my favorite scene is
28:44
probably the very last scene uh one really cool thank you two claps all
28:50
[Music] right so my favorite scene is is the final scene one of the really amazing
28:55
things that we got to do uh that the marke at Country R did was they reported um both Bryce and myself for our final
29:03
uh session for the show um and it was really really emotional not just because
29:09
the scenes themselves were emotional and uh but also because you know we were saying goodby to these characters that
29:15
we've been with for over a decade and it was really really special um and it's an
29:20
adventure that uh I I wouldn't be the same without um I wouldn't have Christ in my life more than likely and Jesse
29:27
and I wouldn't be as both this guy over here is all right [Music]
29:35
um no but um it has been really special to me um and it was you know the end it
29:41
was the end of U of an era at the end of the show and I was the last one to record so like I got to hear everybody's
29:48
performance and I was like in tears already it was amazing so I think the final final well not the final final
29:55
Final but the final final Final that's yeah yeah you got it got
30:05
it I'll just say I'll just say it this way because those of you who have seen it will get it uh my favorite scene uh
30:12
what do you get when you cross arm and a
30:17
barbecue
30:23
charm yeah the as loud as you can he just uh he he devotes so much of
30:30
himself in that scene and and he you know he he had asked himself since the second season you know like U to rise
30:38
above monsters that you have to be willing to dist your humanity and he was trying to find what he could sacrifice
30:45
what he could discard in order to to help and I feel like he made a very
30:50
brave Choice uh thank you for your thank you
30:57
thank you for your question I have a question for ryce p big fan what is one scene that you
31:05
were that made you cry while you were voice acting like what made you emotional like brought you like tears
31:11
like show you real tears instead of like uh drama or fake tears or fake cry just
31:17
real tears well my goal with the show is to feel what Aaron was feeling um we
31:23
don't get strips ahead of time when you're working on anime the first time you say the lines is right there in the
31:28
moment um and with Titan we could really bring a gritty sound to the show so
31:35
feeling what Aaron was feeling was very important for me so like season one when he bites his hand I bit my hand so hard
31:41
I let bruises season two he's more unhinged than ever before so I I
31:46
literally unhinged my jaw in the booth cuz I wanted the pain to come through I
31:52
know you've Austin you've done some pretty gnarly things as your characters
31:57
uh across your career yeah I just thinking about your performance and how painful it sounded you know it's pretty
32:04
special to be in a show and to work with a team that allows you to go to those really dark places um so if it sounded
32:14
like Aaron was crying I was crying too so there was a lot of Tears throughout the series and if you want to see one of
32:20
the ugliest cries it's on my Tik Tok um Trina mentioned they they filmed the
32:25
final session and um um just a a lot of emotion came out that day um you know it
32:32
was it was bittersweet for sure um very sad for many reasons context of where my
32:39
character was saying goodbye to a series after a decade um all of those things
32:45
just tried to leave them in the mov so if you want to see a real ugly cry there you go I've SE I've seen you guys do
32:52
that it was very emotional yeah really compelling and sweet and sad
32:58
question thank you very much [Applause] thanks um my question is how did you
33:05
really feel when you went into like instead of a nocape my question is like how did you really feel about you going
33:12
into the pen cast cast oh this is a question for me this is a Demon Slayer
33:17
question um and I'll try not to spoil anything in that show either I actually
33:22
don't know what's going to happen I haven't read the Manga we don't get scripts so um Enos going into that part
33:30
of the series he's the only one that's excited and happy and in my last line
33:36
that we've recorded so far I try to put that excitement into his laugh so if you
33:41
go back and hear it you'll you can tell how excited I am and I feel the same way
33:47
going back into what I think is going to be three movies um it's going to be really
33:54
cool thank you thank you
34:00
hi so U my question is for everyone uh what do you like to watch on you know
34:05
YouTube or your phone to relax I love that question that's so
34:11
good I'm like going to steal that thank you lately I've been doing this thing uh
34:16
I always have to listen to something when I go to bed and I will often uh switch between a um this podcast is over
34:24
but it's called mission to zix and it is um um it's like a Sci-Fi radio show
34:30
style podcast and it's uh completely improvised so it's these like four core
34:36
actors and they bring on improv guests and they come up with an idea what the plot's going to be and then you hear them work it out together and then
34:43
you'll they edit it down but it's like it's a really fun uh space adventure thing if it's not that it'll be the BBC
34:50
Radio Show of H trackers guide in the Galaxy um from like for back from the
34:55
70s uh and they actually brought it back and brought back the old cast in like early 2000s so there's some older ones
35:02
um and recently I found this thing on YouTube and it's this guy that does uh a
35:11
uh he does ASMR sleepy time stories in The Lord of the Rings Universe I knew
35:16
ASMR was going to get mentioned I knew it was going to happen and he's like hello again folks today we're going to
35:22
he about St and it's like all this um extra or
35:28
from specific characters that AR it's not necessarily covered like in the main it's beautiful I nowh near that
35:36
sophisticated I just watch cat video that's a good one that's a good
35:41
one cats being cats little bastards jumping walking over we love
35:49
them I I really like True Crime a lot I'm I'm like I'm that lady on the couch
35:56
like let's get snuffled in and put on our PJs and order a pizza and get all of our drinks and snacks ready and then
36:02
let's watch somebody get murdered you know like let's figure out
36:07
didn't let's figure out how not to become like my apner was like why do you watch so much to your crime I'm like I
36:12
don't want to be the I never want to walk into a room and light it up because the person that walks into a room and
36:19
lights it up is the first person to die you're quot I mean it's true we all loved her I mean she would walk into the
36:25
room and just Light It Up uh
36:31
I uh I'm a big fight fan uh I like watching MMA even in bed um yeah so I
36:39
watch a lot of the UFC there's some good fights on tonight by the way um yeah I I grew up uh a martial artist um that was
36:47
my first Passion uh and I I utilize a lot of that in voice acting too because
36:52
I know what it feels like to get punched in the face uh or to Pro a punch so I try to make those authentic sounds as my
36:59
characters are being bunched thanks thank you I have to I'm
37:05
going to pause one moment your question is very important but I just realized that there's captions over here are
37:12
there captions over here we love exp let's about that's amazing number one
37:18
number two my dear friend Bryce here is um from The Valley in California uh and
37:25
there's this very particular story that I will pass the mic for him to tell because it's awesome but then I really
37:30
need to say one word and then I need him to say the word thanks for pointing out my accent um I have a southern
37:37
Californian colloquialism uh which means I don't pronounce words right um so when we were
37:44
recording Attack on Titan U we were talking uh in this one moment where
37:49
Aaron mentions the military police apparently I didn't say that word
37:55
properly because the Forever Until That moment cuz when they're adapting for the show they're
38:02
writing based on the the lip flat and we're watching the screen we're talking as our characters are talking on screen
38:08
so I recorded this line and I'm like the military police and it came up short and
38:14
Mike's like what did you just say Mike McFarland the director who actually knows English um he's like what are you
38:21
trying to St like yeah the military police
38:28
let's try it again the
38:34
police on to you they hold on to you now just see this one understand this is
38:41
ridiculous the last time he said this it said please cuz he said please
38:49
see police we love testing our captions yes
38:56
please yeah there it is
39:03
police police maybe you're just a it wrong
39:09
see
39:15
yes but sh tell who want to ask a question to it's me yeah Austin real
39:22
fast could you do your favorite line again
39:28
all right I got to ask do you think Ken k would like San Rio and if so which character would be his favorite would
39:34
like San Rio Hello Kitty koni My Melody I can't think of any other
39:42
ones star star twins star
39:49
twins no that what is that cinnamon roll that's what he said cinnamon roll yeah
39:55
yes absolutely I think he'd love to eat them all up all of them and then absorb their
40:05
cogni hello hello this question is for Jessie hi I was wondering while you were
40:11
working on Ice did you have any favorite memorable moments and what's your favorite one uh funny or memorable
40:19
moments um actually the funny and memorable
40:24
moment is also my favorite line uh also my led into also being my favorite line
40:30
um it was I think the end of episode one actually we be in this whole little
40:35
journey where we see Yuri go through the through the artist's hell of uh feeling
40:42
like they fail that their Arts feeling like he uh had nothing to contribute to
40:48
it why did he even try think that he could do it in the first place you know that whole thing and and he goes through the episode uh and eventually his you
40:56
know his teacher comes and you know Victor is is there but the way that Victor reveals himself is Yuri is taking
41:04
a bath and Victor pops in and Yuri just says Victor why are you here and naked
41:11
so very naked there you go thank you so much
41:18
thank you for your question I Tippy to tippy
41:25
toes the one character that I'm actually taller than yeah my question is for you
41:32
obviously guys uh what was what was it like working of the seven releas uh it's such a fun show it's such
41:40
an adventure um and we're still recording uh fortunately the four nights of the Apocalypse is still rolling out
41:47
actually on Thursday new episodes rolled out and if you check it out you might hear some very familiar voices uh I say
41:55
voices because I played multiple characters in the show I'm melodus and my trick to do uh his voice is I raise
42:02
my eyebrows so high it stretches out my vocal points and I play zeldis also his
42:07
brother and I lower my eyebrows it's all in the eyebrows it works really well I'm
42:13
using that yes I I also play in season one
42:19
there's a little referee um it looks like some kind of tiny character that's
42:25
covered himself with a blanket and then a hole in it uh I'm that guy too he's the most annoying character in the show
42:31
and I'm very proud of that it's good time for thank you so much yeah thanks I must say now we are
42:38
Hing our 10-minute marks we are going to take probably one or two more questions because fortunately we have a great cast
42:44
full of people who have a lot to say and it's very routining but time exists and after this just I mean we can test that
42:52
theory uh after our panel I think we're all going back to the signing area so if we miss answering your question please
42:59
come by and ask my question is for Austin T so like
43:06
what was your audition process for kab oh um that was
43:13
uh uh Joe McDonald's I think he just gave it to me
43:20
actually um cuz normally especially back then that was stange to DVD normally you
43:26
would audition for like three characters and I don't remember auditioning for any
43:31
other characters but like with with like Attack on Titan I auditioned for all the the main ones I would uh these two guys
43:38
and then uh Connie Connor Conor Connie
43:43
Cliff's character um and then I did an audition for uh Marco uh same thing with with
43:49
Mona I just the Le and then got mon um which is always a really fun surprise when you get to be someone like that uh
43:55
but yeah they just called me for karma um and because it was this before dubbing uh we actually got like three
44:03
episodes in uh and Joel and also AIA you were both uh co-directing it or she she
44:09
was assistant directing it but I did like this really kind of annoying voice for him at first uh we got like three
44:16
episodes in and there was so much like sarcasm in the lines that it kind of naturally Str like dri back back here
44:23
what are you talking about and luckily it was uh before Su so to go back and re-record a little bit yeah I was like
44:30
safe cuz if we stuck with the one that I initially did it would have been
44:35
stupid thank you so much yes thank
44:40
you hello um so obviously these shows take a long time to make and this is to
44:47
everyone here uh these shows take a long time to make like you said Attack on Titan takes decades to produce and you
44:53
guys spend a lot of time away from these characters but as actors and as artists you have to come back into that
44:58
character for your recording sessions so what is that process like to oh I haven't played Aaron in 2 years and now
45:04
I'm back in the booth with him what's that process how does that go for you yeah so when we establish the voice for
45:11
a character they record what's called a vocal rep and you have that as a tool they play that for you in case like in a
45:17
day you might bounce between multiple shows and be multiple characters so you
45:23
have to be kind of reminded where you place that character um and then on top of that I always do something that gets
45:30
me right back into character mode so like I'm not as angry as Aaron is so I
45:36
have to think of something in my life that makes me angry and for me it's
45:41
traffic yeah I live in LA it's real
45:46
bad uh do you guys have something specific that you do to get you back into either your character in Attack on
45:53
Titan or any other particular role
46:01
uh I um the first thing that comes to mind is like Prince of Tennis um and uh
46:07
his name is hiri Hara and uh every time I go back in I'm kind of like where is this again so I'll just start saying his
46:14
name like before like K Hara K har so
46:20
just remind myself of where it is um in terms of like uh prep especially for
46:27
something like emotional or stuff I kind of go and I tend to not try to push
46:32
towards a a feeling but instead I try to like send out as much as possible like try to sensitize myself so I try to be
46:40
as like neutral present and aware and I if anything try to distract the part of
46:45
my brain that wants to analyze things by like like in the booth I lot I used to
46:50
do this when I was younger a lot like find something to touch or like try to feel the air or just like kind of like
46:56
I'll take my shoes off and feel the carpet so I can feel in my body and then hopefully receive the stimuli uh and
47:03
then and luckily all my characters sound the same Soo much of a strange uh I'm a big
47:11
similar kind of my Zin is music though so I'll listen to various different artists depending on what show I'm going
47:17
in to work on like for my hero I listen to a lot of ACDC and a lot of the rones
47:23
and Flash uh thank you uh I do have excellent music despite what my sister
47:28
says um and uh like for Attack on Titan I have music and for all of the shows
47:33
that I do I usually have music that I listen to uh before my vocal warmups like on the way to the studio thank you
47:40
guys so much thank you thank you so we do have room for one more question get
47:46
it any girl come on hi everybody and hi
47:51
Bryce yeah I remember you from Victoria from Victoria Texas oh woo it's been
47:57
quite a few years I've been talking a lot since I saw you last it's been a it's been a long time yeah so I got a
48:04
question for all of y'all is there a anime or work that you have not yet told
48:14
to the audience yet as of today like do we have announcements that
48:19
we haven't made um I mean I know I do um I made an announcement yesterday um
48:26
which I'm really excited about uh I play a new trainer in Pokemon called
48:35
Ria so it's awesome to to join uh the larger Pokemon cast um but we sign these
48:42
things called ndas which basically mean if you tell anyone they will sue you um
48:48
so I do my best not to um get sued by the companies I work
48:54
for from February 13th through the 23rd I'll be playing Toby belch at the Arts
49:00
Mission oakcliff theater in Oak
49:06
Cliff drive to Dallas watch me perform live I'll sign anything you want for
49:13
free afterwards one thing though not all big
49:18
problem yeah yeah there you go I really enjoyed watching you walk
49:24
things back
49:30
It's My love language uh you can watch me uh as my
49:36

49:44

49:50
announcement I don't know if you guys have heard of Attack on Titan the last attack but it will be showing in theaters for the next five days it was
49:58
originally supposed to just be one day but they've extended it because uh it sold out within 24 hours uh all of us
50:03

50:09
