Synopsis

Set in late 80s/90s, Gena, a young girl with a sincere heart, falls for a very smart dope runner, millionaire associated with the Cartel. She vowed not to fall for another street guy, she knows her potential, but Quadir is too charming and too rich. He’s at war with a bigger rival crew and is working to keep his street credibility, the last thing he needs is to fall in love. But, soon they find themselves caught up and Gena falls into the seductive game of drugs and money. Her only true ally her heart-felt words that she shares in the pages of her journal. She’s conflicted, but she’s in love. There’s no easy way to win and there no safe way out. Once you start the only way to stay alive is to stay True.
