What’s Included in the Jedi Master VIP?
Exactly what comes with the Jedi Master VIP badge for Star Wars Celebration London in 2023 has not yet been announced, but we already know what to expect from previous iterations of Celebration. For example, at Star Wars Celebration Anaheim in 2022, the Jedi Master VIP pass cost $900 and was advertised as getting you the following perks:

*Priority Access allows Jedi Masters to enter the Celebration Stage prior to general attendees. There is no guaranteed reserved seating section for Jedi Masters, but you will have first choice of seats for each Panel on the Celebration Stage. To take advantage of this entitlement, all Jedi Masters must arrive to the Jedi Master queue at the Celebration Stage before a designated time (to be announced, typically 45 minutes prior to the start of each panel). Due to high demand for panels, we are unable to offer priority access for Jedi Masters to the Celebration Stage within 15 minutes of the scheduled panel start time.

Is the Jedi Master VIP Ticket Worth it?
If you can acquire a Jedi Master VIP ticket then consider yourself extremely lucky because they have a tendency to sell out in seconds. Celebration is known for being incredibly tough on your mind and body as it is a days long all-day event that must be prepared for. The Jedi Master VIP tickets are the solution to that problem as it allows for an incredible amount of time savings. But it’s not without its problems. In some ways, the VIP experience was amazing for the lucky 700 or so Star Wars fans who were able to purchase one, but in other ways, many were left feeling disappointed.
Cons of the Jedi Master VIP Ticket
I’ll start with the main issues that VIP ticket holders experienced. For starters, what was initially promised when the tickets were announced was not delivered on. Namely, there was no meet & greets with the celebrity guests and no signed art. Although Celebration is supposed to be making up for that by shipping prints in the future. Communication was also a persistent problem leading up to and throughout the convention as many attendees found it to be abysmal.
If there was a concierge service as was initially promised, it was not made clear how ticket holders should have taken advantage of it. Many were left with no idea how to contact the supposed concierge to take advantage of their offerings. To make matters worse, the staff was very inconsistent with the information they provided. In the future, it would be a big improvement to see Star Wars Celebration do better with guest communication.
Another problem was that the “lounge” that Celebration set up for VIPs was extremely limited. It consisted of a room with a few round tables, a “coat check” (really just a couple of tables and a coat rack), a table with coffee, a water cooler, and occasionally soda. It was about as bare bones as possible.
Finally, some areas didn’t seem to have any special consideration for VIPs such as the Mando experience. Many of the main ones did, however, and VIP badge holders were able to get guaranteed access to front-row seats.
Pros of the Jedi Master VIP Ticket
One of the first benefits Jedi Master VIP ticket holders experience is early access to the Star Wars Celebration Store. The store is notorious for long lines and sold-out items. However, those who had the good fortune of acquiring a Jedi Master VIP ticket were able to get all the exclusives that they wanted from the store. The early access perks also extended to panels, autographs, photo ops, and half-hour early entrance to the expo hall which is amazing and makes things very easy.
For many attendees, the time savings alone makes the Jedi Master VIP ticket worth it. Time savings come in handy, especially for those with health issues. Combining ADA accommodations with VIP benefits makes experiencing the con to its fullest extent possible for anyone.

Star Wars Celebration will be held at the ExCeL Center located at Royal Victoria Dock, 1 Western Gateway, London E16 1XL, United Kingdom from April 7-10, 2023.

All attendees six years old and up need a ticket for Star Wars Celebration. Kids aged 6-12 must purchase a Kids multi-day or single-day ticket to attend the show. For those 13 and over, purchase of an adult ticket is required. Please be prepared to show proof of age onsite. Please note: all minors under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent and/or guardian.
Kids multi-day and single-day tickets are for all fans aged 6-12. Similar to other tickets, Kids tickets can and will sell out, so be sure to get tickets for your kids early. Please be prepared to show proof of age onsite. Once all Kids tickets are sold out, no more will be released.
We recommend you purchase your tickets to Star Wars Celebration as early as possible. We anticipate that there will be a very high demand for tickets and we wouldn’t want you to miss out! If there are tickets still available, you will be able to purchase them at Fan Services. However, we anticipate that tickets will sell out early and well in advance of the show. If tickets sell out before the show, no more will be made available to purchase.
The safety and security of our staff, exhibitors, and attendees is our priority. We work closely with the venue, corporate security, state, local and federal law enforcement authorities to identify risks, assess them and develop security plans for our events. Everyone attending Star Wars Celebration should be aware or the following security measures:
Security will be onsite at all times to assist you during all aspects of Star Wars Celebration
Everyone must wear their Star Wars Celebration ticket at all times. This includes exhibitors, vendors, attendees, guests (speakers, talent, artists), professionals, press, staff, and crew.
A fully operational security team following our vetted procedures is in place at all times during Star Wars Celebration. Bag checks may occur at Star Wars Celebration.
Walkthrough or hand-held scanners may be used at Star Wars Celebration
Any CCTV in operation at Star Wars Celebration is monitored and recorded
Uniformed and undercover security will be in attendance at Star Wars Celebration
Uniformed and undercover Police may be in attendance at Star Wars Celebration
Canine Security and Detection may be used in or around Star Wars Celebration
Everyone attending Star Wars Celebration is requested to:
Keep personal property with you at all times and do not leave any items unattended
If you see something, say something. Report anything that looks unusual, suspicious, or out of place to Star Wars Celebration staff or security immediately
Remain patient and courteous during security checks and follow the instructions of Star Wars Celebration staff and security at all times
Properly dispose of your Star Wars Celebration ticket inside the venue or keep it as a souvenir – please do not sell it to scalpers or throw it away in trash cans outside the venue where it could be picked up
Carry a valid form of photo ID at all times
You as a fan are able to help us improve event security, fan safety, and the overall happiness of everyone at or near Star Wars Celebration. While everyone attending Star Wars Celebration knows about costumes and props, the citizens of Chicago may be unaware of Star Wars Celebration and mistake prop weapons for real weaponry. If you have a weapon or prop that might intimidate or scare people, please be mindful of it as you carry it throughout the city streets and on public transit. If you have a weapon that might be misconstrued as a real weapon, please keep it concealed and do not carry it out in the open as you travel through Chicago. We would hate to cause unnecessary panic, upset, or unwarranted calls to 911. We really appreciate you being mindful of this and using common sense when it comes to props and costuming!
Star Wars Celebration has a ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY for harassment of any kind, including but not limited to:
offensive verbal comments
physical assault and/or battery
harassing or non-consensual photography or recording
sustained disruption of Panels, signings, and other events
inappropriate physical contact
unwelcome physical attention
in relation to, but not limited to:
If a person engages in harassing behavior of any kind our staff will take prompt action in any form they deem appropriate, including expulsion from Star Wars Celebration with no refund. Our policy applies to EVERYONE at the convention. Exhibitors, fans (attendees), speakers, guests, professionals, press, staff, crew and security are all subject to our Anti-Harassment policy and will be held to the same standards and disciplinary action.
For assistance locating a lost party, please contact a Star Wars Celebration Crew or Staff Member. We suggest that when you arrive at Star Wars Celebration you and your party pick a location to meet in case anyone does get lost. In addition, we highly recommend you fill out the information section on the back of the kids’ tickets so that we can contact you in the event you and your child get separated.
Space is limited at Star Wars Celebration and we want to make sure everyone can easily move around the show. The following items are not permitted in the Show Floor:
Large strollers (umbrella or similar-sized strollers are permitted)
Rolling luggage larger than 22”L x 14”W x 9”H
Cosplay wings spanning wider than 4’ from wingtip to wingtip
Due to space limitations, all of these items are not permitted in any of our panel rooms either.
If your item can be easily collapsed, you may be able to store it against the wall of a panel room, but please check with Staff at each room to ensure space availability.
Management shall have sole discretion in any matter that they believe may affect public safety or be important to protect the integrity of the event. Please review our entire weapons policy before attending Star Wars Celebration. Failure to adhere to our policy may result in your item being confiscated or your removal from the show without a refund. If you’re bringing, buying or selling something that could maim, damage or cause serious bodily harm, we’re going to take issue.
The following items are forbidden from Star Wars Celebration:
Functional firearms (this also includes air soft guns, BB guns, cap guns, paintball guns and pellet guns)
Realistic replica firearms (including reproduction, fake or toy guns that can be confused for functional firearms)
Functional projectile weapons (including blow guns, crossbows, long bows, silly string, slingshots, water balloons and water guns)
Sharpened metal-bladed weapons (including axes, daggers, hatches, knives, kunai, shuriken, swords, sword canes and switch blades)
Explosives (including firecrackers and fireworks)
Chemical weapons (including mace and pepper spray)
Blunt weapons (including brass knuckles, hockey sticks, clubs, nunchaku, baseball bats)
Hard prop weapons (including props made of metal, fiberglass and glass)
Instruments that cause excessive noise levels like vuvuzelas, grenades, whistles and grenade horns
Prop weapons will be allowed provided they are composed of foam or cardboard only. Prop firearms are allowed only if they cannot be mistaken for real weapons. The barrel of all prop weapons must be covered with brightly-colored caps. Prop bows will be allowed providing they have soft tips.
Prop weaponry is allowed on the condition that it is comprised of light materials such as foam, cardboard or a lighter wood/wood composite. Reproductions, fake or toy guns are permitted provided they have a brightly colored cap on the barrel. Metal-bladed weapons must be dull and kept in its sheath at all times. Please visit one of our Prop Check stations to have it tagged. Projectile weapons may be brought if the arrow/bolt tips are covered or foam. Please use your common sense – if your prop can be mistaken for a real weapon, do not bring it.
