But when the head chef is murdered and Ash is the only witness on the scene, her perfectly ordered world spirals into fear and chaos. The detective assigned to the case, Cedric, is in awe of Ash and wants to solve the mystery and keep her safe, especially as he develops feelings for her. Can Ash learn to trust others before she becomes the next target? And will the people she finally opens up to be worthy of that trust?
