Description: Wannabe filmmakers who never made it decide to reboot “Anaconda” and travel to the Amazon…
“Anaconda” Reboot Set to Churn a Classic Thriller with a Cancer-Curing Twist
Fully Formed Entertainment is bringing back a beloved thriller with a radical new premise. The film, “Anaconda”, set to be produced by Brad Fuller, Andrew Form, and Alex Ginno and directed by Tom Gormican, promises to be a reinvention of the cult classic. This time, the daring adventure is sure to take an exciting turn as it intertwines with the quest for a potential cure for cancer.
“Anaconda” follows a group of ambitious yet unaccomplished filmmakers led by Doug McCallister, portrayed by Paul Rudd, who decide to raise funds for a reboot of the horror classic. Among the friends is the eccentric Griff, played by Jack Black, who claims to hold the rights to the film. The journey takes them deep into the jungles of the Amazon, where danger and mystery await at every turn.
On this unpredictable adventure, they meet Ana, a so-called riverboat captain attempting to evade the corporate henchman Myron. Having discovered a miraculous flower with alleged cancer-curing properties, Ana is the key to an unexpected plot twist, taking our protagonists on a roller coaster ride filled with incessant thrills and unforeseen alliances. Also stalking our heroes is the real villain of the story, an enormous, terrifying Anaconda.
Will Doug, Griff, and their friends manage to unite their forces in time to save the day, best Myron, and kill the deadly Anaconda? And in the process, make the unforgettable movie they’ve always dreamt of? Slated for production in Australia from December 2024, this reimagined “Anaconda” promises to be a film like no other – part thriller, part adventure, and part life-saving mission.
