Synopsis: In the 2025 reboot, wannabe filmmakers who never made it decide to reboot Anaconda and travel to the Amazon, where they get caught up in the fight for a flower that might cure cancer. When Doug McCallister’s (Rudd) wife Malie throws him a surprise party, and his old high school friends- Griff (Black), Claire, and Kenny – get together, they watch the bad horror movie they made in high school and get it into their heads that they can make a reboot of an old favorite, Anaconda, to which Griff claims to now own the rights. They raise a little capital and take off for the jungle, where they fall in with Ana, who, it turns out, is masquerading as a riverboat captain and is really on the run from big Pharma goon Myron because she’s discovered a flower that supposedly cures cancer. Of course, a real, giant anaconda’s stalking them all, too. Doug and Griff have to hash out their differences to thwart Myron and then kill the anaconda, making a memorable movie in the process.
