Synopsis: Unveiling the Mysterious Depths in Darling Girls

In the world of Darling Girls, the fairy tale is deceiving. Jessica, Norah, and Alicia have lived under the wing of seemingly benevolent Miss Fairchild who rescued them from personal familial tragedies. Raised on a picturesque farming estate, they were projected an image of fortunate children who escaped unfortunate beginnings. However, the reality was far from it.

Miss Fairchild’s nurturing exterior concealed her unpredictable nature and her strict rules, rules that were not to be broken. Consumed with a desire for freedom, the girls make a daring escape. Miss Fairchild disappears from their lives physically, yet continues to loom ominously in their minds.

Their past comes haunting when a body is dug up from the grounds of their old home. As the mystery unfolds, the interaction of the foster sisters as possible witnesses or suspects adds an electrifying layer to the narrative. Every revelation stains their elusive second chance and brings them closer to a confrontation they never expected.

Written and produced by Orlagh Collins, under the guidance of producer Bruna Papandrea and her team at Made Up Stories, Darling Girls is set to bewitch audiences with its thrilling dive into the complexities of family, identity, and the weight of the past.
