Debutantes: A Dark Night at the Cotillion

Synopsis:

When a group of privileged Southern debutantes gather for their annual ball and after-party at a secluded lake estate, old secrets and buried trauma resurface igniting a night of manipulation, retribution, and bloodshed that exposes the dark heart of their community’s elite. On the occasion of their Cotillion, the once in a lifetime coming out party, these Debutantes, daughters of the one-percent, are determined to make their mark. After their gala ball, a close-knit group of girls retreat with their strapping bucks to the lakeside cottage of their Mean-Girl leader. After a round of drinks, the girls’ flirtatiousness gives way to a more sinister idea of fun and games. In a twisted act of revenge for the boys’ conspiracy against one of their own, the girls heinously take the life of one boy sending the rest of the young men tearing off into the woods in fear of their lives. The boys do their best to protect themselves from the girls who hunt them down one by one and gruesomely end their lives. A last minute betrayal of the last boy alive by the girls has him take the blame as the girls’ patsy.
