Synopsis:
It’s 1996 in Seattle, and Kurt Cobain has been dead for two years. Eighth grade at Laurel Academy is almost over, and Ernie Calder is caught between who he’s been and who he’s about to become. He has three friends he’d do anything for and a future that finally seems to be taking shape. But the last weeks of eighth grade have other plans: a transfer student who turns his world upside down, and a loss none of them will see coming. It turns out friendship is the only thing that holds.
