Synopsis:
When reality is too harsh, all that’s left is to dream. And Lorenzo’s dream is to open a restaurant whose intoxicating, mysterious, and evocative flavors can transform a gray present into a colorful and multiethnic tomorrow. After overcoming conflict, aggression, prejudice, and dismantling opium plantations, Lorenzo and his chefs will take us on a journey. An African firefighter/gourmet, assisted by a young Pakistani, will infuse local dishes with spices and wisdom, even encouraging Elsa, the lifelong chef, to create Umbrian-Senegalese-Pakistani recipes. A small revolution that will mark the beginning of a new era, where ingredients blend like water.
