Synopsis

In the depths of winter, a cargo ship sets sail on its final mission to deliver vital supplies to the isolated Inuit communities of Nunavik. As the ice-laden waters churn, the vessel finds itself battling a harrowing storm off the coast of Labrador.

Amid the chaos, tragedy strikes when a crew member is discovered murdered in his cabin, sending shockwaves through the tight-knit group of seafarers. With no clear suspect among the twenty crew members, the investigation becomes a tense game of suspicion and intrigue.

As the police zero in on an Inuit mechanic who was close to the deceased, a darker narrative unfolds: a man wrongfully accused of a crime he didn’t commit. This gripping tale draws inspiration from a real-life event in Quebec in 2012, where the search for justice was left unanswered, leaving a palpable void.

With stunning visuals and a haunting score, this film promises to pull viewers into a world where survival, loyalty, and betrayal walk hand in hand, forcing us to confront the complexities of humanity against nature’s unforgiving backdrop.
