Production Details

Title: Minnow
Format: Feature Film
Production Begins: Development
Producer: Basil Iwanyk – Erica Lee – Warren Goz – John Zois
Writer: Zach Strauss – Chris Silber
Synopsis: When we meet Minnow, a tattooed, 20-something drug addict sleeping in her car, she seems trapped in a brutal loop: steal, score, survive. After rebuffing a creepy bar patron, she’s offered a drink by a kind bartender, only to black out outside the bar. She wakes imprisoned in the sealed sleeper cab of a semi truck, hauled cross-country by a silent Trucker who ignores her screams. Through fragmented dreams and tense exchanges, we learn Minnow is an ex-Marine whose sister vanished years earlier. The story rewinds to reveal the truth: Minnow engineered her own downfall. Teaming with Buck, a grieving father convinced a trucker took his daughter, she deliberately transformed herself into bait to lure the suspect. Back in the present, Minnow escapes, captures the Trucker, and learns he’s merely “the delivery guy.” Chaos follows, the Trucker dies, and police close the case. Refusing to accept that answer, Minnow sets off alone to hunt the real monster—one last mission that may finally break her.
