Synopsis: Paris, 1899. Celeste, a Cancan dancer in a Montmartre cabaret, desperately tries to find the brother and sister from whom she was brutally separated as a child when their father was murdered before their eyes. To be able to pay Leon, the inspector in charge of finding them, she has no choice but to dance naked. Celeste thus becomes the first stripper in Paris and causes a scandal in spite of herself. From show to show, as she becomes confident, a new life is offered to her but the demons of her past continue to catch up with her. Arsène, a young automotive engineer from the beautiful neighborhoods, is preparing to take over the reins of his father’s factory. Promised to a good party and a well-mapped life, he does not resolve to honor a marriage of convenience when he secretly loves men. He then takes the risk of opposing his father and suddenly breaks his engagement, unaware that he will thus unearth a heavy secret upsetting all his certainties. Rose, a young laundress from the suburbs, very in love, is preparing to start a family with her fiancé. But his dream is short-lived when he actually leads her to a brothel where she is locked up. Rose manages to escape but, pursued by her pimp, she throws herself into the Marne and finds herself between life and death. None of our three heroes then knows that the blood ties connect them. None of them knows yet that everything is just beginning… and that their destiny remains to be written, together, under the sky of Montmartre.

Synopsis
Set against the enchanting backdrop of Paris in 1899, “Montmartre” tells the gripping tale of Celeste, a Cancan dancer at a lively cabaret. With deep sorrow, she searches for the brother and sister from whom she was violently torn away when their father was cruelly murdered. In a desperate attempt to fund the investigation led by Inspector Leon, Celeste makes the scandalous decision to dance in the nude, inadvertently becoming the first stripper in Paris.
As the clamor of the cabaret fills the air, Celeste’s newfound confidence blossoms, offering her a glimpse of a different life. However, the haunting memories of her past relentlessly surface, threatening to derail her newfound freedom. Concurrently, Arsène, an ambitious young engineer poised to take the reins of his father’s prestigious automotive factory, grapples with his hidden identity. Facing pressure to conform to societal expectations of marriage, his secret love for men propels him to defy his father’s wishes, unlocking a web of family secrets that alters his life’s course.
Meanwhile, Rose, a laundress with dreams of a happy family, finds her hopes dashed when her fiancé leads her to a brothel. In a terrifying escape from her captor, she plunges into the Marne River, teetering on the brink of life and death. Unbeknownst to her, the lives of Celeste, Arsène, and Rose are inexplicably intertwined, and their destinies are set to unfold together under the iconic skies of Montmartre.
