Synopsis of ‘The Bay’ – An Underwater Odyssey

Produced by an ensemble team of talented individuals including Dominic Ianno, John Baldecchi, Sarah Donnelly, among others, and written and directed by Phil Volken, ‘The Bay’ is an upcoming Del Rey Films / Laguna Six production that takes its audience on a thrilling adventure set deep within Thailand’s shark sanctuaries.

When protagonists and best friends, Emma and Lani, find themselves adrift in the sea after their tour boat sinks, they soon realize they are not alone. Sharing the watery depths with them are the very predators they had come to admire. With circling sharks beneath and time running out, their survival hangs by a thread, promising a high-stakes race against time that keeps viewers on the edge of their seats.

Principal photography is set to commence from December 6th, at the picturesque Kualoa Ranch, a location that will surely add another layer of alluring realism to the film’s backdrop.
