Synopsis of “The Death Of Robin Hood”

In the upcoming production by Ryder Picture Company, “The Death of Robin Hood”, revisit the world of an iconic character of English folklore but with a decidedly darker tone. Find yourself immersed in a narrative that remains rooted in the age-old hero, let you view him through a radicalized lens. Picture Robin Hood, no longer the vibrant outlaw of the Sherwood Forest, but a battle-hardened recluse, plagued by the tormented echoes of his violent history.

Our story opens with an injured Robin Hood, found by Sister Brigid, an enigmatic healer. It is through her, Robin sees a shimmer of redemption, an opportunity to make peace with his tumultuous past. On a parallel storyline, a young girl, disguised as a boy, meets her dire end at the hands of a hermit. This same hermit is sought by an old friend Edward, pressing him into service to retrieve his stolen land. In their mission, despite dealing with the usurpers, Edward experiences a personal loss, the death of his beloved spouse.

The turn of events scale up when Robin’s existence is discovered by the local warlord. A battle ensues, our protagonist on the brink of death is taken to the sanctuary of Sister Bridget’s island. “The Death of Robin Hood” promises to be a gripping retelling of a classic tale, characterized by intense emotions and high stakes action. This is Robin Hood as you have never seen him before.
