As one of few Black women at the helm of a Hollywood studio, Aviva brings fresh energy and perspective to the table.
The story takes an eerie twist when Aviva’s quest to revamp an aging soundstage stirs up something sinister–a dark secret buried deep within the foundations of the studio. A long-gone filmmaker’s obsession for authenticity led him to employ actual cult members for an all-too-real occult ritual. Now, Aviva must confront this reawakened malevolence, adding a horrific new layer to the challenges faced by women of color in the Hollywood machinery.
The Return of a Legal Powerhouse: ‘MATLOCK’ 2024
Taking us back to the courtroom, but with a fresh perspective, is the rebirth of the classic series ‘MATLOCK.’ This time, the formidable Madeline Matlock, portrayed by Kathy Bates, makes a triumphant return to the legal arena. Despite her age, Madeline is no less cunning and influential, using her experience, charm, and wily tactics to wage war against corruption.
The series will introduce the characters of Olympia and Billy, who help Madeline navigate law and life. Olympia, a distinguished attorney with a sharp eye for justice, will play a crucial part in concealing the realities of the legal world from the ever-curious Billy. Further complicating the dynamics of the law firm is Sarah, a junior associate desperate to rise up the corporate ladder, adding another interesting element to the narrative.
