Synopsis

When Andrew, a melancholic and listless photographer, returns to his hometown to attend his twentieth high school reunion, he looks forward to reconnecting with a few old friends. But, more than anything, he yearns to see the girl he never got over: Jess, his high school girlfriend and first love. He is crushed to learn, however, that she now lives in Albuquerque and won’t be attending. Several weeks later, unable to stop thinking about her, he makes the impulsive decision to embark on a quixotic road trip to try and find her. After driving through the night, he arrives in Albuquerque and manages to reconnect with her, only to discover that she is happily married to a seemingly perfect guy.

About You Always

This feature film centers on Andrew, a photographer who feels disconnected from his past. Attending his twentieth high school reunion stirs up memories, especially of Jess, his first love. The reunion takes an unexpected turn when he learns Jess is not attending, prompting him to take a spontaneous road trip to find her.
