Synopsis

Dutch and Knuckles is the working title for the upcoming Amazon Prime Video spinoff of Reacher, centering on Frances Neagley, played by Maria Sten. Set in Chicago, the show follows Neagley—an Army veteran and private investigator—on a personal mission to uncover the truth behind the suspicious death of a close friend. Drawing on her military intelligence background from the Army’s 110th Special Investigations Unit and everything she learned from Jack Reacher himself, Neagley takes on a growing threat in a high-stakes, action-heavy narrative. The series is being developed by Reacher showrunner Nick Santora and writer Nicholas Wootton, with production backing from Skydance Television, Amazon MGM Studios, and CBS Studios.

Production is taking place in Toronto from February 18 to June 27, 2025. The confirmed cast includes Greyston Holt as Detective Hudson Riley, Jasper Jones as Keno, Adeline Rudolph as Renee, Matthew Del Negro as Pierce Woodrow, and Damon Herriman as Lawrence Cole. Though initially speculated to be a separate project due to its unusual title, Dutch and Knuckles is in fact directly tied to the Reacher universe and serves as the official title for the Neagley spinoff—at least during production. Alan Ritchson is expected to appear as Reacher in a guest role, further solidifying the connection between the two series.
