Synopsis
Set against the vibrant backdrop of New York City, “Three Flowers” unfolds as an intimate drama that poignantly captures the struggles of an immigrant delivery rider, Lu. As he juggles the weight of his family’s hopes from China, his world is turned upside down when his only means of financial support—a rented e-bike—is suddenly stolen.
Faced with a stark reality and a community that feels distant, Lu must navigate the bustling streets of NYC, grappling with the urgency to replace his stolen ride, the one lifeline keeping his family’s dreams alive. As December approaches and the warmth of family is just around the corner, will Lu rise to the occasion or be lost in the chaos of the city?
This story of resilience and determination unfolds from December 9 to January 19, 2025, under the working title “LUCKY LU”. With a talented team behind the lens and a hauntingly relatable narrative, expect to be drawn into a world where every delivery counts and hope is as fleeting as the city’s lights.
