About Laura Haddock
Laura Haddock is an English actress best known for her roles in the film “Guardians of the Galaxy” and the television series “The Recruit” She was born on August 21, 1985, in Enfield, England.
Haddock began her acting career in theater, performing in various productions at the National Youth Theatre in London. She made her television debut in 2007 with an appearance on the series “My Family,” and went on to appear in a number of other television shows, including “Upstairs Downstairs,” “Honest,” and “Da Vinci’s Demons.”
In 2014, Haddock landed a major film role as the lead character in “Guardians of the Galaxy,” playing the role of Peter Quill’s mother, Meredith Quill. She reprised this role in the sequel, “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2,” released in 2017.
In addition to her work in film and television, Haddock has also appeared on stage, including in the West End production of “The Seafarer.”
