Disney+ is set to begin production on the upcoming film “Alexander And The Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day” in February of 2023 in New Mexico. The film, which is based on the beloved children’s book of the same name by Judith Viorst, follows the misadventures of 11-year-old Alexander as he navigates a terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day, and the chaos that ensues when he wishes for his family to experience the same.
The film will be produced by Shawn Levy, Lisa Henson, Dan Cohen, Dan Levine, and Emily Morris. Levy, best known for his work on the “Night at the Museum” franchise and Netflix’s “Stranger Things,” has a long history of producing successful family films.
