Heaton started his acting career on the stage, performing in plays such as “Oliver!” and “The Addams Family”. He made his on-screen debut in the ITV crime drama “DCI Banks” in 2015, and later landed a recurring role in the British soap opera “Casualty”. However, it was his portrayal of Jonathan Byers in “Stranger Things” that catapulted him to international fame.
