I just wanted someone to know what you probably already know, that there are MANY fake Chloe accounts on Facebook all asking for money. They chat you up for a week or two first. One, which has been very convincing, “Chloe Grace Moretz private inbox”, just this morning asked me for an Apple $50 gift card so she could “get her Apple laptop working again”. (Chloe probably makes more money in an afternoon than I do in a year.)
After I had been tricked previously by another Facebook account that wanted a $50 gift card, I had asked for proof that it was, in fact, the REAL Chloe. A picture of Chloe holding a sign that had my name and “very nice to meet you” was sent directly to me. I suppose it was photo shopped, but it was very convincing.
I am a fan of Chloe and these people reach out to me because of the compliments I make on the photos posted on Facebook. I just wanted to let Chloe and/or her management know there are devious people on Facebook pretending to be her, and trying to get money out of people.
